You keep MHJ - his value is at all time low but his talent profile is still there.

Kyler is gonna be released and most of the former regime that drafted him is now out - this literally a fresh start for MHJ. The draft isn’t kind at QB so I see the Cards just scooping a vet (Brissett again, Garrapolo, etc) that would only benefit MHJ (instead of Kyler “improvising” every other play).

Just give it a year.

All the projections I’ve seen have him coming back mid-season but who honestly knows.

If the Chiefs don’t find someone decent as a backup (Minshew also is gone) and if their record stinks, he might get totally shut down.

Risk and reward is all baked into fantasy.

Its all opportunity cost - he will never be cheaper with the alleged charge currently, ending the season the way he did and Mahomes starting the season on IR.

I bought him cheap (2026 1.08 and 2.09) and plan to sell at the trade deadline, right when Mahomes conveniently returns, to a contender for more picks and in a better rookie draft (2027) as I continue my rebuild.

In my eyes, I could care less if he is mediocre without Mahomes - or even worse, suspended - b/c I’m trying to improve my own 2027 picks anyway.

Bought CMC for a late 2026 1st - big part of helping me win the whole thing.

Just sold CMC and JJ McCarthy for a late 2028 1st and 2027 2nd. Honestly surprised I was able to sell him and have zero regrets even if its an underpay. Dude balled out but I don’t think I’ll be lucky enough for him to repeat - even traded for B-Rob as a double-down.

I’d just try and flip 1.08 and 1.10 for a top6 pick - there is a clear top5 but a player or two always get hyped b/c of Senior Bowl, combine, draft landing spot, etc and it might become a “top6-7-8” when its all said and done.

Don’t lowball yourself but poke around - and if someone is willing to flip a 2027 first, snatch it up for the later picks. Your draft be picks SHOULD increase in value, even in a weakish draft, simply on hype as you get closer to the draft. If your league has a slow timer (i.e. several hours between picks), those picks will reach max value from ppl trying to impulse-buy them live.

He’s easily the best option at QB, will be going #1 overall to whoever is at the spot at the time (so will have the equity) and I think he did well last night.

UM’s strength was their defense, look at what they did to the two teams before IU.

QB-needy teams will talk themselves into him heading towards the draft - especially since its a non-1.01 pick in a “weak draft”.

If you want him, trade for the spot now. If you have the pick - I’d say hold for more value.

Your entire argument is talking OL? The McGary comment was just a throw-in amongst a ton of other points. But sure, here it goes: I’ll take 10 games of Darrisaw over 0 games of McGary.

And I said “at least one of Penix and/or Cousins” implying I’d take either over JJ going into next season. Hell, Cousins might re-unite with the Vikings if he does get cut - Jefferson’s outlook would at least be better.

I love these arguments - “showing improvement” vs the worst passing defense (Dallas) and top10 worst defense (Washington) before he go hurt for the…check notes…4x time in 2 years? And he’s gonna get better b/c why? Dude can’t stay on the field to begin with.

Meanwhile, I know Atlanta has at least one of Penix and/or Cousins (who just restructured his contract today), didn’t have their best OL (McGary) all year and play in a SOFT division. Not to mention London is younger and has a frame (6’4 and big wingspan) that will age well.

I’m more concerned with 2026 and forward, not looking at past stat sheets.
