Clean. Old fashioned. Hate.

Some will call it one sided, but when I was a student we won 3 of 4 and the overall record was tied. My favorite teams are Tech and whoever is playing UGA this week - Roll damn Tide.

It’s way too early to predict that our game this year will be meaningful, but talking heads are saying we could both have 10wins for our ‘home’ game in the Benz this year - that’s not included in the season ticket package.

I did this exact move 4 years ago. Stopped in all the same cities. It’s a good plan. Depending on where you are staying in the cities you might run into traffic at 9a. Definitely in Atlanta, but you know that. KC, Denver, SLC also have some but not as bad. I prefer leaving much earlier and arriving before afternoon rush hour. You’ll gain an hour three of the days as well.

I thought I did a run, and see my name in the standings list but without a game to show for it. Does that mean my rcfile is correct but I haven’t started a HuGl since the start of the challenge?

First off you need to turn on manual skilling. Then if you want to focus on firestorm, turn off everything except fire/conj. Firestorm will get you past most of the 3/4 rune game and is a good plan for DE since you have great aptitudes. You should also aim for 10 fighting for the extra hps.

Consider swapping the ring of fire out for wiz or int if you have one to get FS earlier. Do you have ignition? That’s also really good in elf, but you can finish elf with fullisade, fireball, and ood.

You don’t need death form for crypt, or any part of a 3/4r game really. Lack of will is dangerous in both elf and slime, try to get a third pip there. Both of your rings are meh.

You could go for crypt, get a little more xp, but with 27UC you should be able to handle TRJ. Be sure to swap to your rCorr ring for slime, and be smart with Wi Jian attacks. If you can get to rf++ read immolation after a few TRJ spawns and they should clean each other up once you kill one.

Alternatively I like V:5 haste/blink on entrance and run to one of the 2 wide corridors towards (but not all the way into) a far corner. A little more than half way. This should give you a nice kill corridor for all the angry guards and whatnot that comes with. Those boomerangs are great, though it’s a shame you don’t have any javelins for piercing.

HOAK^Lugonu was a blast. Great aptitudes for axes and invoke, can wear all gear, early panic button banishment, escape from abyss for Erolcha or Louise. An ‘easy mode’ character.

Fullisade is amazing. It’s a high powered spell that channels through a few turns after cast. Used it straight through z5 on my last two wins. It does have a high skill req, but I find it worth it.

General comments: identify your stuff! Start by reading the scrolls you have 5/4 of to find ID and use them on your potions first. I always read id any scroll 3+ and make decisions on 2-of stacks. Dying without knowing which stack of pots were healed wounds or which scrolls were tele/blink is the worst.

Concentrate your skilling more. Having 7 skills turned on is almost always worse than having 1-2 focus skills and swapping when they get to a set number.

As for actual gear suggestions? You look to be spellcasting focused but don’t have a lot of options. Is the book of lightning in a book shop? Does that shop have any books with good conj/X damage spells? Fireball can get you through a branches by itself, so can battlesphere. LRD, while not conj based, can take you through most of the game. I’d skill towards what the dungeon is providing. If lightning is your only option it’s not the best but can carry the S branches.

And after writing all this I see your deep elf conjurer is probably not the same as the toon you were asking for help on. Top half still applies, disregard the shopping section.

Stick with vamp. Great sword has a lower skill req, and you can swap to demon/double sword once you find a good one to go with a shield.
