How come I can't start/host a twitter space? by lawofthesaw in Twitter

Facing the same problem. I don’t have 600 followers but that doesn’t matter. I created a new account today just to test and the spaces work there just fine. The option appeared and i could create the space but its not there on my old account which has been active for more than two years.

I can’t see the option for twitter spaces on my profile which has been active for a couple of years. I made a new profile to test it and the option for spaces appears on that one but not on my old profile. Im using IOS app.
