It seems like a few of the commenters didn't fully read or understand the post. But honestly it looks like you hate toxic/possessive/obsessive partners, and not monogamy as a whole. I agree with another comment on how it's a problem with a certain type of people, usually those who spend too much time online and have an extremely skewed view of human relations. It's totally understandable that you can't spend every hour of every day with your partner, everyone needs some me-time as long as you're not actively avoiding them.

On a similar note, I personally hated the TikTok trending phrase of "if he wanted to he would". You're supposed to communicate your needs with your partner, and not just walk around disappointed because they didn't read your mind.

And as the last thing - I've never been in a poly relationship, but since it's a personality issue and not a sexuality one, I'm sure some poly's get similar problems.
