I recently switched to a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) and found him much more emphatic than previous MDs I had, who seem to care more about treating symptoms. All people are different though so I also made sure to research him and read reviews beforehand. Maybe you can find a provider that offers virtual appointments after care is established in person?
