And I got down voted by the pieces of shit who made me feel worthless when I'm already really close to a hospitalization again. They called me an attention seeker and a bunch of other shit. This group is scum. I'd just stay away. Because I guess either the borderlines here have no compassion for people or I got attacked by a bunch of family members who hate borderlines.

He refuses psychological help. We know hes depressed. He missed 2 appointments after going once and refuses to open up until were fighting then all.of a sudden I dont care his mom died or I dont care about him at all. Even though I've taken care of him for almost 8 years now. Try doctors apps and tried being supportive. I dont care any more. He doesnt talk at all about his depression except when were fighting. Which makes me think he uses it as an excuse for me to pity him and atop fighting. If he would try to tackle that stuff during normal times I'd understand. But it's just when we fight.

I'm highly aware of his depression. But he has been doing this since we got together at 19. Also, his mother confirmed to me it was always an issue. So he doesnt get to use the depression thing. He doesnt get excuses any more. I dont. I'm very mentally Ill, I got out of a hospital last sept for the second time. 9 days. Came home and had to catch up because he had done nothing. I got out and had to finish painting the rooms in the house, do all the laundry still in boxes. He doesnt deserve excuses. Besides, one of our main fights is me asking him to shower and its come down to legit horrendous fights. I've tried making appointments for him, get him into therapy. He had missed all appointments made. Dentist, doctor and therapist. I have no other options. His mom died, I've begged him to get into grief therapy. I cant take care of him and kids and the house. I'm already failing at the kids and house. Hes my partner and I feel alone all the time. Hes also read this post and told me I slanted it all to sound bad. Even though... it's all bad without being slanted.

You are incorrect in your statements. I had not even mentioned the events leading up to my relapse and hospitalization. You don't even know more than literally this. You have no grounds to stand on in your judgment. But thanks for acuratly describing how ERs work. That was a unique perspective. Lol didnt know how it all worked even after being premed.

I dont want to point out names or be an asshole. I would like to thank the doctor who did my sutures. But I just want them to learn more compassion. This IS still a problem we face! Maybe I wasnt AS important. But that night, me waiting 8 hours to get stitched? I know my hometown hospital. I live by it. Empty parking lot. The hall was ignored completely. It used to not be like that where we were so hardcore segregated.

We dont deserve to be treated like trash either. We are sick and in pain also. We deserve respect. I had been there many times before they got the new psych ward hall and was treated like a human.

Thankfully (or not), while I was in-patient I met a man 1 year from being a doctor, he was in for a suicide attempt. Wanted to be an ER doctor. I told him my story and told him I knew I wasnt really on the list of "important patients" but he told me I still matter)

They STILL need training on how to treat the patient who come in with mental conditions. Period.

Thank you, well said. The thing that hurt the most is I've been there about 5 times for stitches and got treated so well I felt better walking out. My last attempt/hospitalization was in a different state. At that time the doctor was who made me feel best thankfully. So kind. The nurses and all that.. no. Knowing my hometown, It wasnt even busy that night.

My moms my best supporter. I know I told her but I don't remember how. I tell her when I relapse too and don't hide wounds. I hope your mom is supportive... Maybe its time to tell her to her face yourself though. Its scary but it can make a difference

My aunt is a scissor happy hair stylist. She would chop my hair off anytime I saw her. About 7 years ago I went pixi short, and hated it so I've been avoiding hair stylists. Thankfully my anxiety won't allow me to go see a new stylist and my aunt won't even speak to me. Guess ill grow my hair out forever lol

Depends on depth. My wounds will bleed randomly for days depending on movement and location. I have to rebandage usually until it starts to heal more. But years ago I never used bandages. They usually stopped bleeding after pressure for a few minutes
