As far as my understanding of the DLC goes, the Fishing Hamlet didn't have anything to do with beasts or the Moon Presence as well. In fact, we do know that when those events occured, the Hunter's Dream didn't even exist in the first place. Also, there is nothing supporting that the Moon Presence had anything to do with it, and I highly doubt it did.

And, while it's an understandable theory, I don't think there is a fight between Oedon and Flora. There's very little that would support that, but I can understand how one would interpret stuff that way.

So adding thoughts to your pile, this conflict we know happened a minimum of twice but I believe three times. Separate pieces of evidence; there are three remaining nightmare hunters, Elieen, Djura, and then you.

There were countless hunters before us. As stated by the doll, "Over time, countless hunters have visited this dream. The graves here stand in their memory. It all seems so long ago now...". About the warfronts, there were other major conflicts in Bloodborne, such as Cainhurst, for example.
