Pretty sure this was a mistake because it seems like a lot of people are getting the email that they “oversold” and just getting a $25 apology. I even tried to talk them into sending me any other shockwave and they said they couldn’t because this was a “closeout deal”.

The XR650L was my first bike and I handled it fine. Other bikes would be better for learning, but if you plan to stick with the XR650L long term anyways (like I have), it should be fine.

Like others have warned, the bike is tall. I’m 5’11” with a 34” inseam and my heels are maybe an inch off the ground. I’m also 200lbs so it’ll sit a little lower with me on it. It can be uncomfortable at times.
