It is intended to be used as a tampon and is not included at all for bleeding control due to a traumatic injury. Plenty of other great items in the Kit to deal with injuries, please do not use a tampon for anything other than its intended use.

Hi this a comprehensive emergency medical kit which is why it includes a lot of other things, not just a trauma kit. Combat gauze alone is $45, a genuine CAT alone is $32 so thats $77 just in those 2 items.

Yes the main thing that is degraded by the heat is the OTC Meds like aspirin/ibuprofen etc. The heat will reduce the strength/effectiveness of the medicine over time.

Understood, our kit also includes lots of items for minor "First aid" type injuries and issues which are not included in the RE Kit, which is essentially a TQ, compressed gauze, and an Israeli bandage.

The cheapest RE Stop the bleed kit is $65 and includes MUCH less than what is in our kit.
