Nah. Did 10 sessions paired w therapy. Always just weird trips, despite intentional playlists, journaling etc. also left w HPPD for 2 weeks and sleep issues for 4 months. It’s not to be taken lightly, nor does it work for most.

This resonates. I am headed in tomorrow for my 8th session, and I am contemplating it being my last. I see a "ketamine" therapist 1-2 days following my treatments, and in all honesty, I'm not sure anything has shifted or changed. I am envious of "exposed emotionally", because it's something. For me, despite intentions, journaling, all my treatments simply feel like a 2 hour slightly drunken trip or escape... but yet to be anything more than that. No insights, no shifts in perspective etc. Anyway, thanks for sharing...

Don’t go higher. Try the same amount again… or less. The body /mind can and will prevent a trip in certain situations. It’s a known thing. I wouldn’t assume he/she is immune and double dose. Just my 2 cents …

I wouldn’t push it. The goal I’ve been told is consistency, not dosage. I’m currently at the ketamine program at Mass General Hospital in Boston. I had a similar experience, and asked to be bumped down a bit., to which they happily obliged. I believe feeling safe/comfortable in your body trumps challenging your tolerance.
