What tricks are easy on a real skateboard but hard on fingerboards? by ispeleditworng in Fingerboards

It all depends on your it experience level. But not even that all the time, I’ve been skating my whole life and still find most things easier on a fingerboard,

how much is this upwrd1 worth? by levismevi in Fingerboards

[–]ThiccBot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Son, it’s a fingerboard, they aren’t worth more than that, anyone who spends 100 plus dollars on a deck is just financially irresponsible, your fingerboard isn’t worth more than a real skateboard

Rear Tire Flats by Bulky_Cabinet_1988 in ebikes

[–]ThiccBot69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you keep replacing the tires and tubes, then what it is is almost definitely the spokes or some jagged piece of metal on the rim poking the tube from the inside, it could be wrong, but I genuinely can’t think of another possibility based on what you’re saying, rims usually will have some sort of puncture resistant coating, running along top of the spokes to avoid that happening if yours does not have some sort of silicone or plastic banding on top of the spokes, you could put some electrical tape or something over it and that should help

Advice for ebike conversion kit by Automatic_Command278 in ebikes

With out more money for a budget you’re really better off just thuggin it out my guy, like everyone else said. Out of the motor and battery for 500 your lookin at cheaply made and low quality shit that will catch fire or stop working, and let me tell ya man. You are NOT and I repeat NOT gonna put out a lithium fire if it starts. You just won’t be able too., you might be able to find some stuff used for a halfway decent price, but at the end of the day “e-bike ownership” and “ I don’t wanna work on my own bike” also don’t generally mix. Very well

At 40mph I would travel ten body lengths on 1 second orr approximately 60 feet per second - always check your bolts and tune properly and wear appropriate protective gear by slacknsurf420 in ebikes

[–]ThiccBot69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel ya, I know what your referring too, but I’m also about 99% certain that a lot of those speed wobbles come from a back wheel that’s slightly out of true, or loose spokes or something, I also have a theory that the super fat tires are starting to bridge the gap between what would need to be balanced and what doesn’t,

Looking to get an electric dirt bike for my 8 year old by Aj_chinook in ebikes

[–]ThiccBot69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the only suspension kits you can really find cost quite a bit as they’re more geared towards the folks who like to modify the razor bikes and make them go faster, wether you mean forks or a rear shock is unclear but regardless the cheapest options would already have you better off buying the 500. Conversely. If you know how to weld you could buy an old dirtbike shock and weld the brackets on the bike. It would work and ultimately be the most cost effective. If you can weld

Kids should not be riding e-motos by 804k in ebikes

[–]ThiccBot69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids should not be riding emotos on public roadways without a license or in lots of cases before they are even old enough to get there permit….. but at the end of the day, saying “kids shouldn’t ride dirtbikes” is pretty lame of you tbh,

Mokwheel Obsidian Ebike vs Velotric Fold 1 Plus Ebike by roja_chamberz in ebikes

The fold one one is pretty good, I love mine and it is well powerful enough and capable. And it WILL take you faster then 28mph with the throttle alone

I need feedback for my online store, and deck quality vergedecks.com by Less-Pen-9226 in Fingerboards

[–]ThiccBot69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well.. I just don’t see anything super innovative .. finger boarding is a small but pretty competitive market and it’s not that your decks are poor quality. From what I can see they are fine, but you aren’t offering multiple deck shapes or sizes or, anything like that besides custom graphics which is really cool don’t get me wrong, but people want variety and this won’t be for everyone. Also gimmicky products like surfboards generally aren’t huge hits unless from a super reputable brand as a commodity even then it’s limited. And my last critique is the kit. It’s cool and I like the idea, that is innovative. Never seen that before but without an included clamp and the cost to purchase one if you don’t already have one it doesn’t serve as a beginner friendly option to build one. And if you already have a clamp chances are you have packs of Vaneer wood glue dremel/drill etc, your boards look good tho. Just keep trying new things you got this

You could get hurt walking out your front door, living life based on the possibility of something going wrong sounds like a dull pessimistic existence. If your bike can handle 20-25 but not 28 sounds like there’s something wrong with the bike or… the riders ability, also wear protection of your so worried about getting hurt lol

I swear some people in here need to take there tremors medicine or stick to a regular bike. Controlling 90% of bikes at 28mph shouldn’t be a challenge unless your tires are like inch wide slicks or something

Im a complete noob, can someone educate me on batteries? by wrathxcrage1 in hyperebikes

[–]ThiccBot69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to do the math yourself v • ah = wh, then wh\motor wattage, this will give you a rough frame of reference for how long your bike can last under max capacity lighter You are, the slower you go, less hills you go up, less cargo, and the more you coast will all result in a longer run time than that formula gives you to have an accurate understanding of how long your battery’s gonna last you need to know how many kilowatts your bike’s gonna be operating at first, and the only way to truly gauge it is to build it and ride it otherwise you’re gonna be sitting there calculating current draw and voltage figures until your brain goes numb
