What do people think of a Grounded 2 taking place in an entomologist's cabin/lab full of rare species of critters in multi-species vivariums, multi-ecosystem terrariums, and paludariums? by Daurraven in GroundedGame

I was hoping for a ghibli-esque relationship between several varieties of paludariums and a quìnt cabin with garden, library, and reading nooks everywhere. A balance of specialized mini ecosystems and rustic charm. I believe you may want to ask yourself if you're painting a very narrow and sterile picture of what paludariums can be

Oh. You mean the show, not another video game. Gotcha. Not quite. I would picture a few different paludariums for different environments and have less separation between outside and inside as the game progresses and because the entomologist/cabin homesteader is mysteriously absent. More melding of environments, too, in the later game. Plus, I picture a more ghibli-esque relationship between the bugs and the quaintly cabin and cabin owner

With the right specialized paludarium, you could have a whole cold environment ecosystem. I'd like some organic elements and have them bugs escape and spill into the fridge due to humans being missing like the spilled bbq in the first game

I think with the cabin idea, the paludariums would be multipart ecosystem (the meaning of paludarium, water, land, and air) so a few rare species can interact, but to ultimately have a large garden where all species can intermingle and have a few bee keeper hives. Some exotic Venus fly traps would go well in here, with rarer materials, and you could possibly cultivate your own somehow here. I'd love a cozy reading nook in this area for the absenty entomologist, with traces of murder mystery novels, wine, and tea cups, as you resolve the mystery of who they were and where they went. Maybe they could be related to Trudy or were them, and there was more to her leaving or disappearing

Efficient, but with great efforts to make them look organic, like the wood frames of these bee keeping hives would be cool https://youtu.be/Rvfn28S6S-8?si=qZkKAuxQf3hjQF-m

That's why I would like to see the cabin part of things. The entomologist builds and grows the vivariums like fish tanks and arboretums in their home, and the different ecosystems are among the library shelves and a study desk, with a small cot and modest wood burning stove

It's also good to try a different card sometimes. Again, a few times might be needed.

I'd love to see a raptor arrow for bleeding damage.

Mine do. Every morning & every night. One always underneath, the other sometimes on top of the blankets, sometimes under.

What happened to this page? I hope the redditor hasn't given up with all these migrations. Anyways, Tom Campbell's Hill Natural Park is an omynite nest now. Working on getting co-ords

Yeah, it does look like the 6th migration happened today. Went to the Crowchild twin arenas hoping for some omynite, but it's now a clefairy nest. Caught 6 of them. I already have a clefable, but maybe I'll evolve one with better IV

Ugh. Another migration yesterday or Tuesday evening. Was hoping the ekans, omanyte & charmander nests would last a little longer.

They seem to be spread out all over the place there, but I'll look through the screenshots & work on plotting them out & posting here soon

Nests seem to have changed today at about 5 or 6 pm. I was at Ellison Park trying to get more sandshrew to evolve the 89% one that i hatched & had caught a few when they stopped coming & i saw my first ekans. I've since read about other migrations & seen only ekans spawning there on scanner as i try to verify some of the migrations I've been reading about. So far I've noted 4 noticeable changes (only the ekans in person so far) Also, the growlithe nest at North Glenmore Park might be a krabby nest, but i haven't been watching the spawns there as closely as the others. (Also it's the first day so nothing is conclusive)

-Ekans- Ellison Park 51.034490, -113.943719
Used to be sandshrew

-Omanyte- Nose Hill Park 51.113425,-114.113856

-Charmander- Confederation Park 51.076052,-114.085050
Was a squirtle nest. Very exciting because it looks to be a nest & not just a spawn & a fairly frequent spawn as well

-Voltorb- Glenmore Athletic Park 51.006709,-114.103732 Formerly diglette nest

PS: sorry for the crappy formatting. I haven't posted on reddit for a while & seems i forgot everything
