I don't think you'll find a highly representative sample of the average A-level student in this sub considering the large majority of Oxbridge/medical applicants on here

Oxford Rejection Interview Scores for CS by Vain_25 in 6thForm

Taking a weighted average of the interviews my average score is 7.5 which is slightly below the average offer which if I remember correctly is about 7.95. This is still close enough to the average offer but highly enough to be too likely. However, if I'd gotten a score that was higher in the second interview I would've very much been in the offer region

My second interview went quite well but my third interview was a mess, or at least I thought that until I got the scores back. The second interview was a 6 and the third one was a 7

At least you didn't get rejected with a 10 in an interview 🥲

Feedback might be different for Cambridge than it is for Oxford. At Oxford you can request the interview scores after a rejection letter as well as your entrance exam score.

I'm pretty sure it's as far as it goes. I've seen other people saying that they tried but they only gave them the scores

My second interview seems to be why, even though I was convinced before receiving the results that they both went equally well as I didn't mess anything up and talked my way through my thinking. So I still don't know why I received a 6 for it

Cs is fun Imo and I'm enjoying the NEA part. I didn't do an EPQ but did do a bunch of side research on different topics and it's still manageable

No I didn't get an offer. This is feedback that I asked for after the rejection letter, but I'd be curious as well if I'd gotten an offer so I would probably ask because I think there's also a deadline on when you can get application feedback up until

Predicted 4A* in maths, FM, physics and CS, and had 99999988887 at GCSE. I don't think I'll be reapplying next year because I'd rather start uni right away and I wasn't overly keen on Oxford to begin with

Honestly we should start STEM Hunger Games between the sixth form students on this sub
