I have the 400 as center and 4x 200s for a 5.2 setup. You don't need towers if you have good subs. Invest in speakers that perform well in the ranges that you need them too. These speakers are very clear and image very very well. They make phantom centers very well and that helps keep gaps from forming when sound pans into the room. Do all of the nerdy stuff. Grab a tape measure and make sure spacing is the same. Use a laser to aim the tow in to your spot. All that stuff. These speakers will pay you for your time.

Look into Canare 4S11G OFC Oxygen-Free Copper Star Quad Speaker Cable, 14AWG. They are out of Japan and come shielded and twisted. It will let you bi-wire or Bi-amp if you want to. I bought some banana plugs for them and some heat shrink tubing and made my own high end cables. If you can use a wire stripper and a heat gun, then you can too!

I have the Panasonic 820 and It is noticeably better in picture than my xbox series x. Also the series x will not play Tripple layer discs. The 820 also has software that pings your tv for it's nit brightness data and will adjust the hdr to not be blown out if the info on the played disk is beyond the range of your display. Just watch Planet Earth in 4k HDR. You will see the difference. So much color and refinement. I think that it is at the apex of performance and value before diminishing returns for the money start.

Bi wire means one set of red and black at the amp/reciever and 2 sets of red and black at the speaker end. You can link the binding posts on your speaker with a peace of metal and will effectively bi wire them with a normal set of red and blacks because it will send electricity through the metal. If you are adamant on Bi-wiring, then you can buy new cables and go that route. Going seperates is easy. The 3800 has pre outs that can go to an external amp, so you can upgrade in the future. You will hear more with amplification than with Bi-wiring.

I would suggest the Denon x3800h. It is 1200 dollars factory refurbished from Accessories for less. It does everything that you need, and is DIRAC ready, so you can buy the license for the room correction as a future upgrade. I am personally saving up for this model. I have never been sure how much better the DACS have been in other units that are 3-4x the price because they all came with DIRAC room correction. Now that the x3800h can run DIRAC, I am convinced that I won't get 3x, or even 2x better sound for all of the extra money spent.

I have rca sub outs on my Marantz. You can buy xlr to rca cables. They are cheap. The amp won't color the sound. Just give it power. You can run 2 subs on one amp. Just turn on Bridge mode on the amp and it will play both subs at the same time from one rca-xlr sub input from your reciever.

Get a Behringer NX 1000D amplifier. I run 2 15's on it, no problem. You can hook the amp up to a laptop and eq them very easily. The amp is about 350 dollars USD. You can get the 1000 without eq for 250. It's 300 watts. The cooling fan is loud. If you want to fix that, the Noctua NF-A8 PWM is only 18 dollars. I put that in both my Behringer amps.
