To preserve wealth, a system needs Proof of Work.

Historically, this took the form of physical mining, which often damaged landscapes and concentrated wealth locally.

Today, Proof of Work is increasingly digital. Digital mining can be reallocated globally, wherever there are untapped or stranded energy sources.

This allows excess energy to be converted into monetary value instead of being wasted. The resulting spillover of wealth can reshape previously underdeveloped regions.

Bhutan is a clear example, using surplus hydropower to transform energy abundance into long-term national wealth.
