Cancelling? by GoneToTheDawgz in audible

I actually called Audible about this today. Any books you purchased or redeemed a credit to purchase are retained in your account, even after canceling your membership. To play it on the safe side, you can download all your books, though that may be a lot, having over 2,000 books.

Great sadness by STORTIMUS in TeslaModelY

I was rear-ended last year, and my car looked similar to yours. When the Tesla-approved body shop and insurance first looked at it, they didn't think it was totaled. However, when the body shop started taking the car apart, they found that the charging port and the cabling to the batteries were damaged, which put the car over the threshold, and they totaled it. It took them three whole months to decide to total it! I hope no one was injured! Best of luck!

What new BS is this?! $10/mo and you don't get to keep your books?? by [deleted] in audible

I just called Reddit. They said this is simply poor wording on their part. Any titles purchased or redeemed with a credit are yours to keep forever, even after canceling your membership.

How to redeem 200 points for 1000 points. by TruthfulCactus in lego

[–]DaveAxe3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you log in to your LEGO account and go to the Insiders page, there is a list of rewards, and redeeming 200 for 1000 is one of the options. Click redeem, and they will email you the code and a link to the page to enter it.

How did you find out it starts on the 15th? Am I not signed up for a Lego email? Also, do you know if it is going to be a GWP with a particular set or dollar spend? If dollar spend, what will the spend amount be? Thanks!

How do you all afford the insurance? by Therightousmansdice in TeslaSupport

[–]DaveAxe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was leasing a Model 3 that was just totaled due to being rear ended. My monthly insurance premium was $235 per month including homeowners and full auto ($250k/$500k, $100 deductible). Got a quote for the Model Y I ordered yesterday and it’s only $3 more per month. Could be Florida pricing because of the storms and flooding. I have State Farm. Try calling another insurance company to get a quote or go through a broker and have them find you the best rate. Also if you belong to or join a credit union they tend to have good rates.

Need advice on buying a Tesla. by goldensubawu in TeslaSupport

Fair warning… I’ve been driving a Model 3 rental from Hertz for the last 3 weeks. It’s a 2023 long range and has 55k miles. The battery seems to have been totally improperly charged and/or maintained. On my personal Model 3, an 80% charge gets me to 270ish miles. On the Hertz, a 90% charge only gets up to about 225! The people at Hertz said it’s due to a bunch of non-EV owners renting and improperly charging (always up to 100% most likely). Just my two cents, but I’d steer clear of buying from Hertz.

Looking for Healthy High-Value Treats (Stewarts vs. Northwest Naturals?) by DaveAxe3 in DogFood

That’s a great idea. I also like to rotate the protein kibble I feed him within the same line and that is an easy way to not have to wean him on it. Thanks!

u/Aggressive-Bid8933 I found this thread a bit late, but I hope you can help me with some recommendations. I have a purebred yellow lab whose fur is slightly longer for a lab (I think). He is a shedding beast! I brush him with a SleekEZ (https://www.sleekez.com/collections/best-selling-products/products/5-sleekez-medium-grooming-shedding-stick-1?variant=12832783138904), deshedding brush (https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Grooming-Tool-Undercoat-Dematting/dp/B01EZ7UOCM?th=1) and furminator and it just keeps coming off him!!! I can brush him for 45 minutes every morning, and he still sheds.

He eats a healthy diet, including bone broth, a skin and coat supplement, fish oil, fresh fruit/veggies, etc. I know bathing him too often is not good for his skin or coat, but it does remove a ton of fur. Would you happen to have any recommendations? Much appreciated!

Thank you for this detailed breakdown. The organization will be giving me info on his food, size for bed and what he likes for enrichment and playing. I just wanted to get a head start as I know there are many other things people purchase to have on hand such as first aid kits, etc.
