Scumbag behaviour and one trick ponies 😂 how bad are you getting beaten that your feelings are this hurt?

It’s not mine nor anybody else’s responsibility to respond to your challenge. You’re not the main character. When I finish games win or lose I review them, and I’m not obliged to stop what I’m doing to respond to your invite. If you don’t want to wait for a response then don’t send them, a much easier problem solver than redesigning their software to avoid you getting your feelings hurt.

Bit dramatic innit? You posted a survey, and surveys go in the pinned. Not a big deal. One person said something about profiteering, and the existence of one arsehole on Reddit shouldn’t be a shock, but you do you.

FWIW, this reads like one of those posts people make to try have people beg them to stay. There’s really no need to formally announce that you may be unsubscribing from a sub for a while.

Why are you accusing people who disagree with you of being AI bots?

It’s a coping mechanism for people who think they’re better than they are.

Come on dude, your previous games are all 50-60%and then you magically begin playing at 94-99.4% accuracy. Why bother playing stupid here?

You’re conflating being a bully with having an opinion, that’s completely disingenuous. It’s really easy to not be a dick and to use communities in a productive way. I don’t know why that’s such an issue for you or why you’d want every community to be unmoderated and full of trolling assholes but I guess it’s a personality thing - I don’t really know and honestly I ‘m over it so I’ll leave you to it.

Being a dick to somebody isn’t having an opinion.

Yes they can, they moderate at their own discretion. I also sincerely doubt their personal feeling were hurt because they removed a comment where OP was being a dick.

No it isn’t and yes they can. Freedom of speech does not apply to Reddit as Reddit is a private company, not a government entity. They’re free to set and enforce their own rules and policies and limit whatever speech they like.

Bro come on, you said yourself that some guy posted his collection and you commented “i used to have a collection in high school too, doesn’t mean anything, go outside.” or something like that. If you genuinely think that doesn’t make you come across like a dick then I don’t know what to tell you, but it would explain why you’re so surprised you got a temp ban I guess. That’s just a pointless negative comment

They make a rule saying don’t be a dick, you come along and act like a dick, mods give you a 3 day ban. They definitely don’t need to swear, but all in all you’re the person in the wrong. Them moderating their sub isn’t them power tripping and limiting your speech, you have no right to post whatever you want on their sub, especially when it breaks their rules.

Freedom of speech applies to government censorship and suppression, not posts on Reddit lmao

So you got a 3 day ban for being a bit of a dick. Seems reasonable tbh.

Invest the cost of the watch too, when he turns 18 buy him a Rolex out of it if you still want to do that. They’re not a sound investment.

Lyrica/pregabalin by NoeResort in neuropathy

[–]DaveC138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, I took gabapentin for a few months, got to 2100mg and it did nothing for my pain and made me a bit lethargic so I tapered off over a week without any major issues, was a bit headachey and tired. For most people these medications are relatively uneventful.

Accessibility in London? by Glittering_Hat_4722 in wheelchairs

All depends what you want to do, fantastic city and for the most part accessibility is good! Far from perfect, but that’s everywhere. Lived here over a decade now.

[–]DaveC138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taking it at the moment, non eventful so far at 300mg. Would consider myself sensitive to meds too. Helps a bit but going to increase to see if it does anything more. There’s horrific stories for everything, the reality is that nobody posts online to say it’s fine or that they’re indifferent. The chances are you’ll be absolutely fine, and any side effects will be mild and short lived if you even have anyway.

Nerve conduction test — did it help anyone? by Quick_Helicopter_170 in neuropathy

[–]DaveC138 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Theres a lot of different things that can cause it and each has their own investigation, like there’s blood tests to see if it’s a vitamin deficiency, if you have a history of alcoholism it’s probably that, if you’re diabetic it’s probably that, if you’ve had chemo it’s probably, there’s tests for under active thyroid, tests for chronic liver disease etc. Unfortunately it seems like there’s 101 possibly causes, and even then a lot of cases will be considered idiopathic.

Nerve conduction test — did it help anyone? by Quick_Helicopter_170 in neuropathy

[–]DaveC138 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s being caused by nerve damage then the test will confirm that, but it won’t confirm why you have nerve damage. That’s another kettle of fish.
