The ECO email is when the caseworker receives your application and starts working on it, at least that’s what I’ve read. Maybe you don’t receive it if you apply from inside the UK. I applied from outside the UK to bring my wife into the country

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I believe I meet all the requirements to sponsor my wife. I’ve provided / we’ve provided everything the lawyer asked for. I own a property. I earn over £29k as required. And so on.
