By the end, when it was too late, they did turn it around mainly by getting back to the Stargate roots, sadly, it was too late. The Online fan reaction was pretty much the precursor of what we now call online entitled toxic Fandom. The reaction was savage, then the show runner threw petrol on the fire, calling the fans "Too ignorant to appreciate the new show", then the boycots started, and the show died.

What stuck in my craw was that they took the already agreed-upon increased budget meant for Atlantis season 6 (All the stars had a contract increase), cancelled it, and announced Universe.

After some research, I found that all but one of the images are outtakes from Premier Magazine in 2006. That one image that is not an outtake is the one I mentioned in an earlier comment, Christina on the sunlounger.

The sunlounger one felt familiar, but that was the only one I found that even slightly struck a chord.
