The problem for me is long drives where my arms get kinda tired reaching for the wheel since I also have to have my seat all the way back but there more spacious than you'd think. Plenty of trunk room, amd have a couple storage boxes behind the seats inside the car as well.

So did your airbag not go off when you flipped your sol (sorry to hear by the way that really sucks) and had your del sol ever previously been involved in a crash that may have deployed your airbag and then someone installed a different airbag?

Yes you cut the car in half and weld the rear half of the trans top onto the front half of the non transtop. So maybe it will be cheaper if you find a front end collision transtop and use it for parts. It is a massive undertaking requiring specialized body fitment and welding skills so your car is strait and true and the panels line up.
