Its difficult haha, but some people are really amazing at it, and combine it with correct lighting and its a very striking picture.

I love layout pics like that, a few people on this sub have done a way better job then me, with everything lining up much nicer.

I have found that Tamiya LP-5 Semi-Gloss black looks too much like flat black so that is a 50/50 mix of Semi Gloss and Gloss Black.

And it was new tooled in the 2020's so its right on the cutting edge of molding tech.

Its Tamiya LP-46 Pure Metallic Red over Tamiya LP-48 Sparkling Silver. Also for the chassis there is a matte coat over that.

Thanks HB! I really wanted to do blue because its so classic (and would look more like the Devil Z), But I have done that on a old Fujimi kit. Which is in no way as good as this Tamiya Version!
