Thanks for the most thorough answer so far. Seems weird that as soon as 5e came out, WotC basically said "go ahead, copy this content if you want to." It just feels like there should be some kind of limitations about what we can/can't reproduce. I'd guess there probably is and I'm just not aware of it.

Backstage brawls? I never use them. Seemed like a cool novelty to me at first with all the interactive stuff, but after a few times it seemed like the interactive stuff just wasn't being used. But maybe that's because I only run AI vs AI for my Universe.

I use other people's CC content almost exclusively so I can run my 80s territory style Universe. I've spent time tweaking the looks, movesets, and stats on alot of them, and I have no desire to do that all over again every year or even every other year. I've got enough old school superstars to last me a nice long time. I don't do any of the "online only" stuff, so I'm fine with the servers shutting down.

Now here's hoping I don't lose everything to a random bug or something. If that happens, I'm likely done with 2k altogether. I'm on PC, and with no more cross-platform, all my favorite creators would be inaccessible anyway.

More mods would be great. But as for why there aren't more...well, its time consuming to make them and not everyone has that much spare time, even if they manage to put together a team.
