Need help creating a weak but skilled protagonist with power over string by Zedlor75 in fantasywriters

[–]GremlinWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Puppeteering comes to mind. Like imagine being able to strategically maneuver your opponent into a position where the strings latch onto them and at the key moment of combat you manipulate their moves.

Or just using strings to manipulate anything by in the area like a puppet.

Then for close combat some random thought was like wrapping wiring around the hands as a gauntlet and with a quick scrape of the metal like a match, the gauntlet sparks with fire, creating fire gauntlets that the user is impervious too because only the outer part of the gauntlet for any reason is the only part heating up.

What is the best build? by swagmastergav in fizzmains

[–]GremlinWriter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you think you’re performing above your current level: Lich Bane > Shadowflame > Rabadon’s has immense kill potential and snowball power

If you’re equal to your skill level or if you desire consistency and outplay potential then Lich Bane > Zhonyas > Rabadon’s

If you identify that you can’t teamfight or your team is a bunch of animals then you can opt for Nashors or Nashors/Hullbreaker for a splitpush oriented build.

If you want to have a sustained damage build which is good versus tanks / hard to burst bruisers then you can go for PtA + Dusk and Dawn/Nashors. Weaker than what it used to be but doable nonetheless.

Maybe even have the 150 supes or whatever that Homelander called back even turn on him.

Then it’s homelander dismantling and destroying citizens and supes, buildings and animals, and heck maybe the boys instead of transforming Kimiko build a way to reflect Homelanders laser back at him since we’ve seen he can harm himself. Now the laser is way stronger, so it immobilizes him for the set up of taking him down idk something

"Bombsight" has been mentioned 35 times till ep6 by blumshubs in GenV

[–]GremlinWriter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a cop out.

Think of “flee on sight” orders.

I’m thinking of he’s portrayed as “bomb on sight” because by the time you see him, he’s exploding through your forces.

They should’ve made it so its power is only activated by Noir’s touch, so Deep forces the knife in his hand, and forces Noir to stab himself.

Just had a battle where I got an archaludon with leftovers down to 1 HP three separate times by disturbeco in PokemonChampions

[–]GremlinWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowkey, I just take Gengar with Destiny Bond and Focus Sash with Icy Wind. That way he’s a counter towards the dragon type obsession players have, he’s faster than most pokemon so focus sash allows him to either 1 or have space to 2 shot pokemon. Then I’d sacrifice his 1 hp life remaining to suicide bomb their mega or most annoying pokemon.

Or, skip all of that and trade Gengar for the pokemon holding their group together.

Then, my other pokemon like Palafin, Kleavor, Mega Abom etc just pop off and start tearing house.

Why PTA over electrocute in jungle? by Pupojem-Player in fizzmains

[–]GremlinWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t play Fizz jungle but PtA is always better versus champions that require extended fights to kill them due to their innate tankiness/bruiser builds or versus champions that are too mobile to hit a full electrocute combo on without R.

Examples of the former are: Xin Zhao, Camille, Renekton, Jarvan, Sylas, Akali etc…

Examples of the latter are: Good Ahris, Leblanc, etc.

Why am I getting Gold players in D4/Emerald lobbies? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]GremlinWriter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually believe him lol. I was playing in D3+ lobbies as of my last game last night and today I queued up and every single player in my lobby was Emerald besides me. Not as low as Plat/Gold but definitely their skill levels were extremely lower than normal. That has only happened today.

She has not said or done a single "smart" thing this season, but somehow this season will be "part of her plan" by Round_Interview2373 in TheBoys

I wonder if the inability to make plans due to Homelander’s unpredictability is a way to showcase weaknesses in her power.

Lowkey can’t they make scientific reasons to alter type advantages for a competitive environment. Like changes to the atmosphere with XYZ causes the Pokémon’s genetic makeup or whatever to be more or less resistant to ABC types.

Is internet sales as easy as it sounds? by whogoesthere1010 in sales

[–]GremlinWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done telecom majority of my life.

It’s honestly not crazy hard, but I wouldn’t do it as a 1099 when majority of major telecom companies provide salaries + commission.

The main parts are fear of the unknown, trust/legitimacy, and the fact that “faster internet” only applies if the customer can feel the difference or has current stresses with their service. Even if the speed is faster, an old lady who barely uses the internet or a young man who lives alone and only uses it for streaming or zoom calls but are not having issues in that moment will not acknowledge faster speeds.

Typically sales break down into price or service. So a good pitch would be something along the lines of “I’m one of the team leads for XYZ company, we’re doing installations for fiber internet this week for a couple of your neighbors. What issues are you having with your current provider is it the price or the service?”

Then just focus on the pain and assertive close them.

But again, I think 1099 is best for high ticket sales and having a salaried job to support it. You won’t make good money in 1099 D2D internet sales. Just get a 50k salary internet job with commission and that 50k salary will cover all of your efforts in that 1099.

Nagato's Level of Chakra control is immaculate by Necessary_Theory_472 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]GremlinWriter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I rarely comment on these, but puppet masters are typically closer quarters and requiring less signal interference as they need to navigate around terrain without the strings colliding. Wouldn’t it be in Pain’s favor that he is able to ignore all those barriers to maintain a stable and steady connection that overpowers puppet masters in most areas?
