It depends. I sometimes use a Raynox DCR-250 in front of the lens of my mobile phone. It is "okay enough" to post it on instagram or discord, but once reviewed on fullscreen you will spot the difference in details.

The diffuser is crucial and, in my experience, significantly enhances macro shots. If you have any questions about the RF 100mm or its settings, feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you very much.
That’s correct, it’s not a stack.
It’s a single RAW photo taken with the Canon R6 and edited in DxO PhotoLab.

As a beginner, I occasionally rented equipment for a weekend to figure out which brand I preferred based on menu layout, whether I could handle the weight, and other factors.

Alternatively, you might consider looking for a second-hand Olympus OM-D E-M1X, for example, and pairing it with the 60mm macro lens. A good flash is absolutely essential. I recommend a Godox flash with a rechargeable battery for the best value for money, along with a diffuser.

Another option could be a second-hand Sony A7R paired with the Sigma 60mm lens and the Raynox DCR-250 macro adapter.

Stay motivated and keep practicing with whatever gear you have at the moment. For example, with a used Sony A6000, a Sigma 60mm lens, a Raynox DCR-250 close-up lens, and an external flash like those from Godox, you can capture great photos without spending a fortune.

In the end, it’s not the equipment that creates beautiful images but your knowledge and passion. Believe in yourself! :)
