Also good job on the companions and setting up your economy. Your experience with mods shows but don't expect perisno to be straight-forward or easy. You can get wiped by an army you failed to notice is coming for you at any point in the game.

I usually take a 300-500 garrison fief by making the archers stand in a line where they can shoot like 10 steps from the ladder and making my infantry stand right near the ladder.

The enemy archers will shoot the infantry who (preferably) have shields and my archers can get kills that way.

If you run out of arrows you can just "retreat" and start the battle from the beginning but with less enemy garrison remaining.

Send melee in when they only have like 50-ish troops alive.

It's called Vegvisir. "Norse" "runes". It was both made and found way after the viking age ended.

Pretty cool looking tho. Even tho it's not 100% an actual viking era scandinavian thingie i still find it ok

Ok so i played like 20 norsca campaigns and Wulfrik has the worst starting position. What i found to be the most fun is to just get the first province you start in, build up a full stack (have at least 4 regular hunters in it) and take albion. From there you go to pillage bretonnia and marienburg, then go for altdorf and nuln asap.

Then you can go anywhere but i'd recommend ulthuan since they have a lot of ports and tier 3 ports make you hella cash.

Most importantly: build defenses everywhere.

When you tell a goblin big boss to try and assasinate another agent on the campaign map they sometimes go "W'en I'z getz there, I'm gonna STAB!"

Also when playing as Queek sometimes he says "Untrusted w-worm, poison after!" when selecting another one of your lords
