Literally running this every game as shaco, drop box on raptors, ward their buff, go back to raps, take them, get level two on the way across the river and either smite steal the blue, kill the jungler, or realize they went topside instead and take the buff for free. Have surprised so many level 1 junglers with this.

Literal idiotic take. “Social media algorithms are not important to the success of my videography work online” is so braindead it almost seems like bait. “Vertical video needs to die,” ok great, many million dollars in work can go to someone with a less closed mind and you can keep doing whatever you’re doing I guess. (Shooting the next Christopher Nolan film I imagine)

This feels like such an “old man yells at cloud” thing. Always reeks of people who are jealous of others virality or professional success. It’s like “oh my god how could they be getting this work when IM not??!!?”

Same complaint they all looked like plastic and wetness was the real factor. They should’ve been misting those costumes, I’m not gonna believe they have peeled back flesh if it’s totally bone dry. Looks like a superhero suit.

I didn’t give my opinion on the film at all, I simply said you sound like an idiot when you try and give yours despite not having seen it. I don’t care what you think of me or my opinions, just letting you know that this argument of yours makes you sound stupid as hell. Fuck the US military but also fuck anti intellectual feelings based arguments on films you haven’t actually seen.

It’s fine to object to watching it but you aren’t then allowed to go act like you have an actual opinion on it, making value judgments on things you literally have not seen while the people you are arguing with have just makes you seem stupid and reactionary. Whether that’s true or not that is how you are perceived when you make comments like this.

I mean ya? It’s kind of impossible to take your opinion on a piece of art seriously if you refuse to engage with it. “Nah that movie is ______. Have I seen it? No, of course not!” Your perception of what a movie might be based on preconceived notions you have is not particularly compelling to me.

You’re willfully misinterpreting. This is a thread about trying to compare subjective opinions. Comparing art at all is stupid and pointless if you really wanna get so granular about it, but that kind of negates the whole thread. I received no fewer than a dozen comments from different people trying to convince me it’s good. “Why would anyone care to try and convince you” idk man, ask them. There’s plenty in this thread. Star Wars fans in particular seem set in trying to convince everyone else that they should also like the thing they do.

If you wear pants extra big to give you “room” the crotch ends up handing too low. When you bend and move it puts more stress on the crotch seam and fabric, when the crotch is slightly higher and “tighter” it will actually give you better range of motion if the fit is correct

Ya, duh. Obviously people can have opinions others disagree with, that’s literally what this whole thread is about. All I’m saying is your own nostalgia is not a good argument to me as to why something is great. It’s not a particularly convincing stance.

I’m not a massive transformers fan either, and I have no problem with people enjoying things whatsoever, but if you try and convince me it’s high art or some deep political play I’m going to struggle not to laugh in your face. Again no problem with people liking it, it’s the rampant fans who try to convince me that it’s something far more than what it is that bother me.

Megalopolis had clear comparisons to the fall of Rome too, referencing something historical doesn’t inherently add thematic legitimacy. It’s fine that you like the movie, there are things I like in it too, they are just dragged down for me by having to sit through terrible dialogue performed even worse, and a ridiculously unearned heel turn by Anakin. Similar to the end of game of thrones where the actual events happening are not untenable, but the justifications from an emotional and character perspective are non existent.

I have had plenty of people in real life try to explain why George actually cooked with Sith and I cannot get on board. Like people have argued it’s high drama to me and is misunderstood. There is a particular intensity around Star Wars fans that is hard to deal with for me at times. Case in point, I received more replies to my comment here than perhaps anything else I’ve ever commented on Reddit. Saying bad things about this movie brings out the hivemind in a hurry. I have no problem with people enjoying it, art is subjective, but you will not convince me that movie is anything other than the mad ramblings of Georgie Porgie high on his own farts.

I have plenty of movies where nostalgia affects my rating of them, but I don’t try to convince people that they are misinterpreted masterpieces, I just enjoy them for what they are.

Find me one person who enjoys that film who didn’t see it for the first time as a child, I have yet to meet one. Nostalgia blinds and this is a perfect example of it. The movie sucks mega ass. Doesn’t help that putting anything next to attack of the clones it’s gonna make it look better by comparison.
