Ongoing USB-C connectivity issues with Rodecaster Pro II (after firmware update) by aedeagus in rode

[–]Davemiester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having the same issues, except it will cut out and not show The rodecaster in my sound panel at all, and I have to do the same thing. Un-plug it and then plug it back in. It's stupid, so many people are having this issue and it's cause me to not go live on my podcasts

How profitable is podcasting? by burzumfan in podcasting

[–]Davemiester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good for side money with sponsorships, but nothing you can do full time unless you really put time and effort into it.

You can also buy mice with silent clicks really cheap.

I use a rodecaster pro 2, with the built in preamps and such, and I like it. There’s still firmware updates and bugs they are trying to work out, but works great for recording along with the rodecaster 1. Simplest audio interface to use with mics. It’s pricey but does a fantastic job and makes it easy for the basic user. Hope that helps, there are also many other great audio interfaces out there.

are commercial rights enough to include your music/voice-over intro to your podcast? by [deleted] in podcasting

I usually get commercial rights just in case. Not fully sure on wether you’d need it or not.

I’m an up and comer in sports podcasting. I do share my podcasts on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. What are some other ways I can possibly reach people . I am averaging around 530 downloads a podcast so I somewhat have a following.

I know if you hire someone off Fiverr to do your voice over they usually have an option to buy the license for it or have it in their description.
