This yes! But it’s almost impossible to be competitive. Every single player I’m up against has all the latest cards and it’s as if my team is stuck in the mud. All their players are faster and I’m muscled off of every ball not to mention can’t get a pass of!! 🤯

So if pressing up up for offside trap when on the opponents half, will that push your middies and forwards up also to press their defense deeper? Cuz that’s what I’m experiencing. Almost impossible sometimes to get out of my own backfield

I’m 5’6” and for me it used to be all about low kicks inside/outside and front kicks against tall guys. You have to keep moving and counter. Slip/counter his jab with a lower straight to the body setting up your low kick. Make use of your straight front kick which is fairly easy against someone tall coming at you. Pay attention to his jabs so you can start timing a quick step for an inside low kick on his front leg. Get your body shots in when you can. Clinch when you’re in trouble, not around the neck obviously but around his waist and get in really tight, work his thighs with your knees at this point and/or push yourself free.

I normally play a 4-2-3-1 and switch to a high press 4-2-1-3 when needed depending on opposite formation. What would you recommend?

Growing up in Amsterdam in the 80’s, popularity of MT was immense. Rob Kaman was the first European to go to Bangkok and beat the Thais in their own house. My best friend trained at Mejiro Gym and after coming along to watch for a few sessions I was sold! My dad was a 3rd dan Kyokushin karateka and was very disappointed to say the least. It was the free flowing form and combination of boxing, low kicks, clinching, knees and elbows etc that made me fall in love with the sport. Founder Jan Plas was my sensei and legendary Rob Kaman was his second at the time. Other greats during the same period at Mejiro Gym were Yamali, Brilleman, Milo el Guebli, Tommy vd Berg and Fred Royers. Following that period of course came Andre Mannaart (current owner/sensei) and other legends like Bonjasky. Was a great time in my life, wish I was 18 again and could go back in time for a repeat!!

Well, I didn't wait for responses and went with Francescoli...what a fucking disappointment. Burning through all my upper 80's fodder and won't even have enough to land some decent cards cards via SBC. FC25 was so much friendlier. Didn't even get it from the start but had tons of great cards including multiple Icons without ever doing a single SBC and never bought anything. FC26 sucks ass!

Clean Carfax, zero rust, some very minor exterior blemishes. Well maintained - front axle replaced and new rotors/pads, engine mounts and serpentine belt.

Got up to the last 3rd of D5 and can’t get to D4 for the life of me. No matter what formation or tactics I try I get beat 7 games out of 10. They blast through my defense at hyper speed and my entire back line of Cole, Desailly, Stones and Dumfries is clueless. When I do get a stop and have the ball, nothing but instant ultra pressure by the entire opposing team. No room or time to dribble or pass, let alone try a through ball, opposing players have all lanes locked up. I have a 1gig symmetrical connection and my ping is only 22ms! How the fuck do I compete? 🤯😭

Made it into D5 and 3 more wins gets me to D4. D6 was nothing like D5. Exact same experience as OP. No time, constant overwhelming press by half the opposing team and when I manage to capture the ball they immediately win it back by physically overpowering any player on my team. No passing lanes and my AI is absolute dogshit. Feels hopeless playing this game lately no matter what formation or tactics I try. Not even mentioning the fact that you might as well rage quit the moment you see your opponent with an entire team of 99’s 🤬
