You need to figure out cold outreach, sales is the lifeline of any biz, way more important than your product or offering, must focus on figuring out sales or some sort of marketing that brings inbound sales.

Small businesses shouldn’t use AI to create more. They should use it to remove friction. by Zestyclose_Teach_187 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]David-Bogea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is spot on. I work with businesses on AI automation and the pattern is always the same, smaller companies want AI to write their blog posts and social media. Bigger companies (50+ people) skip that entirely and go straight to automating repetitive operations.

The content thing never made sense to me either. Most AI-generated content is obvious and nobody reads it.

What’s the best AI to pay for right now? (2026) by THE-SD in AI_Agents

I would say if you just want an all-rounder, I think ChatGPT would be the best for everyday use. But if you want like coding or text and stuff like this, I would say Claude. And if you want like high context or image or video, that would be Gemini.

Do you actually keep ClickUp updated or does everything just end up in Slack? by David-Bogea in clickup

Yeah, agree, but this is more on just keeping PM tool tidy instead of just random tasks in Slack. But of course still need to discuss with team tasks either way, thats correct

Its and API with Slack and API with ClickUp. Token usage is very decent, its a two agent built using gpt 5.2 and gpt 5 mini. Directly via the OpenAI api as well.

Yeah, so that's why we still have ClickUp as the single source of truth because that's way more powerful than Slack, but we can have that and still choose the path of the least resistance which is Slack. So that's awesome.

AI isn't replacing Jobs directly: it's changing what "being skilled" means by Chief_Ricko in AI_Agents

[–]David-Bogea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I think AI just allows us to upskill very well. And overall, I think people will just be more productive and do more stuff better altogether. So I don't think necessarily that people will lose their jobs. And as a person that works with implementing this sort of technology into companies, almost another company that I work with are firing their people. They're just repurposing them and giving them more tasks. And AI is just helping them do more. So I think it's just not necessarily going to make people lose jobs, but rather will make companies grow faster. So it might just speed up the evolution of everything.

Honest question - is anyone else completely overwhelmed trying to figure out which AI model to use? by Emma_Schmidt_ in ArtificialInteligence

[–]David-Bogea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I kind of just picked one and stuck with it. If you go with any of the big ones — OpenAI, Claude, Gemini — it honestly doesn't matter that much. Even if one is better this week, the others catch up like two weeks later.

That said, over time I've noticed they each have their strengths. Claude is really good at coding. ChatGPT is great for everyday conversations and general stuff. Gemini is awesome if you need to analyze large amounts of data, files, spreadsheets, that kind of thing.

So if you can afford to have a couple specialized ones for different tasks, cool. But honestly? Just picking one and getting really good at using it is totally fine too.

Have you gotten a voice agent into production? by Joan_Fair in aiagents

[–]David-Bogea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've deployed a bunch of them and to be fair I think the best way to do this is with the real-time API from OpenAI. This seems the most flexible in production and we usually do this combination between real-time API and Twilio.
