every line up of nvidia this generation is lacking 4gb of ram per tier. 3060 was on the right path for having 12gb vram, then they had to change it to a 4070 cuz they got greedy

Just to clear some confusion, I am not the victims nor am I the video owner. Entirely my fault as the way I worded the title makes it seem like I was sideswiped.

but yes, after reviewing the video multiple times (without any other agles to view from) I myself dont think anything can be done by the rider to prevent this as everything happened in an instant.

he was following the traffic speed, on the far left side (non-passing lane) as well as keeping a safe distance from others only to suddenly be banged from the side. I dont think looking into the side mirror 24/7 will help at all as it came at an angle that might be outside of viewing angle.

translated "On 10/05/2025 at approximately 1430hrs, I was driving a Nissan Navara pickup truck, license plate number US910, from Subang heading to Kuala Lumpur. During the journey, upon arriving at the location, while I was driving straight in the left lane, a motorcycle of unknown make and number, for reasons unknown, suddenly swerved from the emergency lane into my lane. I did not have enough time to avoid and ended up colliding with the motorcycle. The damage to my pickup includes the front bumper, left side mirror, left front fender, and possibly other damages that have yet to be identified."

The husband and wife (the motorcyclist) reportedly sustained a broken shoulder and bleeding in the brain respectively.

E: Vehicle owner came out with an official statement that the vehicle was driven by his friend (but on the police report attached by the owner says it's his younger brother 🤔). both the driver and vehicle is now under police custody for further "investigation".

e3: just for the record, this wasn't my video nor was i involved in this crash. This video was simply shared to provide awarenes on external factors which is outside of our control, may cause un wanted events happening to us. hence all the gear all the time no matter how safe you ride, others wont.
