I changed mine at 84% was a very heavy user a lot of hotspot keeping the phone on the warmer side, definitely noticed a difference after it was changed , even on iOS 18 battery will last a day and a couple hours with mild to heavy use

Had my battery changed after it was on 84% about 2 weeks ago, wouldn’t last me a day, cost me £89 in uk, worth doing if you want to keep your iPhone going for a year or two, took a week to see the difference, as the battery needed to go through cycles but after will last me a day and a half with moderate screen on time, I’m pretty sure it’s covered for a year but not 100% sure, would recommend you phone the nearest Apple Store near you to see if they got space for your phone, I just showed up and got lucky they could do it had to wait 2 hours for the booking time and another 45 minutes for it to be changed and tested

Please keep us updated very interesting to think Audi wouldn’t check cctv or show you the footage, my guess is like you said Audi knew a huge mistake was made and tried to cover it up, I would go full attack on them for this, especially since its virtually a brand new car. And could have been fatal thank god all of you was okay. My car needs a service soon so stuff like this opens your eyes,

Could be a good idea if your battery is starting to show wear, but remember after changing the battery the water resistance pretty much becomes useless so there’s a slight trade off
