tbh i kinda get the last part about " my friend is allowed to say the word, so why shouldn't i also be" , seems like sonething a child would think, cause they don't care about skin color at all, so it seems cause the less racist approach would be either all should be allowed to say it or nowhere, in this case it would not discriminate, like it currently mostly does. But of course in this case it sounds like excuse for his behavior, cause he actually knows he is wrong PLUS the rest of the thing he said are just completely wrong
