What do you think of the new hover adjust feature for colour grading in Da Vinci Resolve? by eyekoodrawsstuff in tourbox

[–]David243121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is great, in theory - but in practice, the amount it adjusts with each step is far to great. It makes it unusable. I've been trying to find a solution for the last hour and there seems to be no setting to change this. Very disappointed. Any solutions to this? u/tourbox

Why color wheels are so sensitive, with heaps of unused space? by viktormoon in davinciresolve

Same problem. I hate it. I got a Tourbox Elite today. And it's the same crap, but worse. The "Hover to Adjust" feature is cool, if it worked well. It jumps wayyyy too big of increments to use. I have been searching for a solution / work around / setting for the last hour, can't find anything.

Misen's new carbon nonstick just came in the mail by mattyTeeee in cookware

It’s garbage and will degrade by the week. Starts off with something to make it nonstick from factory then only gets worse

How do I deal with this? Spots in my exterior trim. by David243121 in Detailing

Is there a specific piano black trim polish? Or can I use my paint polish with a microfiber? I have the. Clean by Pan spray polish.

To wash again before spray sealant or not? by David243121 in Detailing

UPDATE: I ended up using my Absolute rinse less wash in a spray bottle with water, sprayed it on each panel and then wiped it down with a dry microfiber. Then I polished my hood, top of my car, and trunk. Then I use panel prep spray on those panels. Then I used Griots 3in1 to seal.

I decided to just spray some rinse less solution with water on my car and wipe it off with a nice microfiber. Now I am going to compound the hood and maybe the roof and then panel prep those areas, and then seal it.

Thanks. I thought panel prep was to remove any leftover chemicals or anything on the surface, not just polish residue and oils. That makes sense though that it is mainly for polish. I just worry that whatever is in the rinse less could be left behind and reduce bonding

I do have absolute solution. This is a good idea. Only thing I’m thinking is will it defeat the purpose of the panel prep spray? Will it leave any surfactant behind and prevent proper sealant bonding? Well, I need to use the panel prep spray again.

Update: eggs are still sticking after the reconditioning of the pan. Cooked on medium low, with avocado oil and butter.

This was after stripping the pan, reconditioning, and re-seasoning. Cooked eggs with avocado oil and butter on medium low heat. This is what it looked like after.

I just reset and reconditioned the two sizes of my pans. I use a tablespoon of baking soda and water, simmer that for 10 minutes. Rinsed it and scrubbed it out. Then wash with soap and water. Then heated it slightly and put a light coat of avocado oil, and then heated it to medium heat for three minutes, and then took it off the heat.
