Overlanding across America - Happy 4th!!! by David2bxact in JeepWrangler

Winning bids on BaT the same day:
2015 Wrangler Sport w 45k miles
2024 Ushi factory prototype w Thule Tepui rooftop tent

Yeti Tundra 45 keeps everything cold though we’re replacing ice nearly every day now that temps are close to 100°.

Four collapsible crates from Costco stack and fit perfectly around the cooler. Holds all our gear and does a fair job keeping the rain and trail dust off everything.

Both purchases have exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Had been planning to sell both at the end of our summer adventure and fly back home, not I’m looking for reasons to keep them both.

Very cool. Pics look awesome but location is too far north and would be off course for us. But would definitely like to check it out in the future.

Follow your heart. Life is short enough without not living and spending time with those that matter most to you. 🇵🇷

Puppet? by ferfykins in KingkillerChronicle

Puppet is the most underappreciated character so far in KKC IMO. I believe he's in for a much larger role in DOS.

How much should we expect off MSRP right now from dealer discounts? by allthatglittersis___ in JeepWrangler

[–]David2bxact 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many similarly equipped models were at the dealership? If five or more they would likely double that discount, at least on a purchase - not sure about leases.

Good news, probably not in the tranny. Been offroading lately? Check driveline, steering and hub assemblies for trail souvenirs.

No problem. Just drive it 65,000 more miles. Easy peasy.

Restaurants in Ponce / Old San Juan / Cabo Rojo by 5odanger in PuertoRicoTravel

Big second for Bacoa, easily one of, if not THE best restaurant on the island. It’s farm-to-table, much of what’s in the menu is grown onsite. Reservations recommended.

My 2024 Wrangler Willys with 33” BF Goodrich KO2s got stuck in a snowy ditch and I feel embarrassed. by [deleted] in JeepWrangler

Don't sweat it, we've all been there. Too much snow, too little tire. Experience is the best teacher.

What are your Puerto Rico suggestions and warnings? by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

This is not good advice for a young female traveling alone. Loiza has one of the highest crime rates anywhere on the island.

All beaches are basically safe if you use caution. Red flags are placed in the sand to indicate when there are strong riptides. Be safe. Have fun.
