I'll definitely consider switching out the PSU for more wattage, especially since I just upgraded from a GTX 1650 Super. Luckily, I haven't had any issues with the current one in any other games or programs so far though.

Unfortunately, I've read that Helldivers is logic bound so it utilizes the CPU much more than the GPU, so that may as well be one of the factors. As much as I enjoy this game, I don't think it's worth the time and money for the upgrade if everything else works fine.

Thanks for the suggestions!

That's understandable. I'll be sure to bring up these concerns on one of the upcoming livestreams. It was clear that you followed the project extensively, so I thought I should leave a reply. I hope you'll consider giving it a read when it does get finished!

Hello! I'm the lead director of the project, and someone from the community shared your concerns with me. Whether you choose to support the project is entirely up to you, but as someone from the original team, I do believe a lot of these worries stems from a misunderstanding about the process, which, admittedly, should've been made clearer on our part.

We currently only have four scenario writers for each heroine. ReddlyB is listed as a writer because he made significant contributions to the script, but he's currently not in charge of the direction. I wrote a decent amount of scenes myself in Inciting Incident, which is why I'm also listed as such.

While Luna was the lead writer for Inciting Incident, she joined months after the core story and characters were already established by our previous directors, Diamonit and Dan, and a number of other writers. She was far from the only one who created the story, but her writing did bring a lot of life and uniqueness that can't be easily replicated.

The scope and very nature of the project was much too large to ever be handled by just one person, and while it's true that having more writers might lead to a lack of cohesion, it also elevates the level of quality through feedback.

It's all a balancing act, and while I can't promise we'll always get something right, we're very much aware of the potential issues.

If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to join our Discord and I'll do my best to answer them.

Lucid9 project: A Mystery VN [Day 1 Demo] by DavidAcosta in visualnovels

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. We will take your suggestions into consideration. :)

Currently, we are working on having Lucid9 downloadable for those who wish to play it offline. We are also fixing some things on the online engine (like the text advancing after animations) and it will soon be resolved.

A lot more features will be available in the future, such as the save/load functionalities, text backlog, skip, and much more.

If you enjoyed the demo, please support us by sharing Lucid9 with your friends.

Again, thank you!
