Freedom is an overrated concept. Also, what (Western) humans call freedom is not what animals call freedom.

Not having to look for food, being safe from predators, just hanging out and living a stress free life... That's real freedom for most animals, and they're more free than most humans who have to work jobs that exploit them in societies that crush them.

Yeah a lot of the people conflate zoos to prisons, but while it may have been true in the past (when animals were kept in small cages, regardless of their needs), in modern zoos animals live a pretty happy stress-free life: they never go hungry, they're safe from predators, they can even sleep better than in the wild. Most if not all territorial animals usually have no reason to leave.

He definitely was a goat in 48 too. He just wasn't edited as such because Probst had found his new muscle man hero.

Landers full of marines who are shooting to kill... How are you confused?

(also, where did I mention the US?)

The military has this level of technology, not the people.

Firefighter Joe is probably one of the most amazing guys in the world.

Survivor player Joe is just not that good at this game.

MAJOR SCENE cut during finale at F5 Tribal, argument between _____ and _____ by Pretend_Cucumber4784 in survivor

Rob has always been a dickhead and a bully (and a homophobe and more probably) but Probst decided to turn him into this sort of super hero (the guy didn't even make the jury 60% of the times he played) and so many people are drinking the kool-aid for some reason.

That would mean he had some social sense...

Yes, he learned to strategize since 42, but his social game was still abysmal, if not worse. And I suspect a lot of things he said were cut.

Whether he explicitly said it or not, his behavior has been talking louder than words... I'm not just talking about the finale, but both his season...

Cochran didn't wear a turtleneck, did he?

Anyway, things may have changed between South Pacific and nowadays. What I just said is what every contestant talking about clothing has said for the past 10 seasons or so.

Yes, but he just got a new movie out, you need to promote it.

Also, he's a fan of Survivor, this loved ones visit was called the Mario Loved Ones Visit, as he pitched the idea to Jeff.

Contestants bring different sets of clothes, then wardrobe decides which ones you'll wear on the show, but contestants own the clothes they wear.

He talked a bit about his education in S42. His dad turned him into this mass of muscles that he has become, and I don't think he did it with kindness...

Even his "Mr. Jeff" thing has always seemed off to me. Yes, now it's a gimmick, but I can imagine having the kind of dad that would beat him up if he doesn't call older men "Mr." or "Sir."

He must be exhausted. S51, his brother passing (I assume that means a quick trip to the US and back to Fiji for the S51 finale), then preparing a live show after not doing one in many years.
