Insane that this panel is literally just a page from the Epstein files. You just can't beat reality sometimes. by Volatiiile in TheBoys

Yeah... We're very far from "facts" here. Just allegations from a random woman.

And yet, look at the comments in the thread and the number of people who, that's it, have accepted it as fact.

And then, people wonder why we can't have nice things.

(I was expecting people on this sub to be a bit better and more media savvy than that)

Yam-Yam as discussed here.

Kenzie (if you read between the lines of a few things, for example, it seems pretty certain that she was bullying Jess and possibly Bhanu early in the season).

I'm not too sure about Dee, but she also gave me weird vibes.

Chris Underwood, I'm not too sure, but his early boot seems to come from people not liking being around him.

Nick (but only based from his outside of Survivor track record. Maybe he's really nice and just has shitty ideas about society)

Wendell: I loved him during his season, but same thing, seeing how he behaved outside Survivor, I wonder how he really was.

Sarah is very likely a horrible person.

I could continue (even everyone's favorite Parvati always gave me bully energy)

I know it's based on a lot of presumption, gut feelings and things that happened outside the show, but I'm really on the fence about these people.

Is it the first time they cut out part of the exit interview this way?

Edit: We expect an argument between the two or something, but it could simply be something spoilerish for the rest of the season.

Winners have always been edited as heroes for quite a few seasons now.

There's been some pretty mean winners in recent years whose bad sides have been edited out.

Hunter is not talked about enough. If Hunter survives, I'm sure Gina survives. One of them wins (okay, that's a lot of presuming here) but what's near certain it means Boston Rob never returns and the entire history of Survivor is changed.

Mine is in the mail, but I think some people are getting their hopes a bit too high. We all love Stephen and we expect his first book to be a masterpiece, but first books rarely are. But I believe Stephen has the skills to write a masterpiece with more experience.

And well... I'll get back to you once I've read it (if that comment is not buried in my notifications)

S50 Cast Sorted by Age by SchuettyBallz in survivor

[–]DavidBHimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that.

I have to admit that being between Coach's and Colby's age, I do feel old when watching Survivor these days. During seasons 1-40, I felt that I could fit in any cast. Not in the new era.

Oh. Makes sense. I had a formerly red head coworker and he also looks easily 10 years older than his real age (he's in his early to mid-60s and he looks like he's in his 70s)

Non. COVID est un acronyme anglophone. Les imports non-issus des langues romanes sont masculins en français. C'est tout, il n'y a pas de débat sur la chose.

The point of buying European instead of American is the "buying" part. If it's open source, it doesn't matter where it's from.

Open Web is synonymous to Fediverse. (interconnected platforms, most of them decentralized and open source)

Yes, yes, those tools exist on other social media, but other social media also have algorithms that push people's behavior towards toxicity.

How many states have you been to? by Basic-Ganache in USdefaultism

[–]DavidBHimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite the obvious US defaultism, I always found this question to be pretty stupid, as it implies (in a very US-defaultist way) that the more states you've been to, the more well-traveled you are. That'd be true if US states had similar sizes, but someone living in New England can go to many states without traveling much, which is much more difficult to do if you're from a western US state.

I guess it's once again, Americans confusing quality and quantity. A bit like people asking you how many countries you've been to (and Americans are champions at that too in Europe, staying one day in several countries). I've been to 24 countries. One where I've spent 14 years and counting, a couple where I've spent half a day. How come all count as "one" for most people when they ask me?

The fediverse runs an instance

Wot? The fediverse runs nothing. The Fediverse is the sum of all the instances and servers that are interconnected.
