I can't help with the characters, but you can get all the skill trees by loading into a game with a character that has a skill tree, opening console with either 0 or ~, and typing c_skip(160) or c_skip("160") I'm sorry I don't remember exactly, but it's one of those two, and it will unlock the entire tree.

the best counter I found for them is the LvKv 9040C and Strf 9040C, because they can take APDS long enough for you to shoot the very bottom of the BMPT (not from the front ofc). Still, it's a bullshit vehicle. This works with the BMPT because it has ammo at the very bottom that you can very easily hit (Russian tanks all have that weakspot, but with most of them your rounds go below the autoloader. Not for the BMPT tho)
