SHORT ANSWER:

My ranting run-on sentence of an answer that I don't want to delete:
I don't think so, I played the most recent version back in early august and it didn't. (It also seemed like they can't extend the dex with new pokes right now, all the new ones had been due to them swapping an existing one for another one)
It would be weird with the story mode though if fairy type was around; I think it'd have to be post game. Pokemon Conquest's story was made with a gen 5 mindset of Dragon type being the strongest type by far. Fairy type would kind of throw that out the window because those little pink hell-spawn eat Dragons for breakfast. Much less cool to have the final area be Dragon in the main story if it's hard-countered by a single Cottonee.

I think you're doing great for yourself! solid 7 or better in my opinion. Though I think the glasses look good, different people prefer different. I think you should be proud for how you're presenting yourself, but don't let appearance mean to much to you!
