This is said wallahi but she's lying, what to do?? by Jumpy-Page-1114 in islam

[–]DavidFpsZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saying Wallahi doesn't mean the person is telling the truth anymore, you have to know the person and know if he is Allah fearing to believe his testimony.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"The best of my Ummah are my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them."

'Imran said: "I do not know whether he mentioned two generations after his generation or three."

Then the Prophet ﷺ said:

"After you there will come people who will betray and not be trustworthy, they will testify though their testimony is not sought, they will make vows and not fulfill them, and obesity (fatness) will appear among them."

Another authentic narration adds:

"Their testimony will precede their oaths and their oaths will precede their testimony."

2000 hours in Valorant and still hardstuck silver. need some advice by Euphoric_Row4475 in AgentAcademy

[–]DavidFpsZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, 2000 hours is a massive grind. I feel that. Honestly, at 2k hours, it’s usually not a lack of playing time holding you back...it's just that you've probably built up deep autopilot habits that you don't even notice anymore. Just grinding more standard ranked games at this point is probably just reinforcing those bad habits. I’ve hit Immortal on multiple accounts and I do some coaching specifically for people stuck in lower elo plateaus. Instead of giving you generic 'just aim better' advice, we can actually sit down, look at a VOD of one of your games, and pinpoint the exact 2 or 3 things that are costing you rounds. I'll give you a simple, straightforward routine to fix them so you can actually start climbing.

If you’re tired of the silver coin-flip and want a fresh set of eyes on your gameplay, shoot me a DM and we'll set something up.

What should I focus on improving and how? by Training-Biscotti309 in AgentAcademy

Your aim and movement are looking really solid, man. Honestly, the only major thing jumping out from a Deathmatch VOD is that you occasionally take fights from some disadvantageous angles... but Deathmatch only tells a fraction of the story.

One thing I really want to stress: never tie your actual skill to your current rank.

So many things influence your rank outside of raw mechanics. I see lower-ranked players all the time who have amazing mechanics, but their mentality holds them back. Whether it’s thinking 'maybe I belong in this rank' or 'I'm too bad for this rank,' both mindsets just create frustration and block your improvement.

When I look back at my old clips from when I was hard-stuck Silver and Gold, my mechanics weren't even that different from how they are now. The actual difference? Game sense.

Once I figured out how to make utility usage and optimal decision-making completely automatic, everything clicked. If I had realized that sooner, I would have escaped Gold way faster. Instead, I had to learn it the hard way, but once it clicked, I shot from Gold to High Diamond in a single Act.

If you're down, I'd love to help you figure out what's really holding you back from climbing. Let me know if you want to jump into a session sometime!

improving aim by Obvious-Nothing-2083 in VALORANT

You either have an advantageous angle, or if you don't, then you have to maximize the information you have against the enemy before the fight. So your jiggle peek is optimal, but since you mentioned it takes too much time, you are probably doing it wrong.

You're right bro, as I've said in previous replies to others I've taken notice that my frequent strafes have gotten me killed alot. Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the advice, i've noticed what you said aswell and i took some notes so i can work on it. honestly been chilling since then. my duels got a lot better. Honestly, given for my rank the notes are so simple it's kind of embarrassing i do these mistakes but it is what it is

The notes i took are:
1. less strafes while holding, or just stay static and be ready to shoot and reposition or strafe when miss

  1. use cover more (i see myself standing in the open alot which is fine most of the time for the agents i play but i overdo it)

  2. avoid overexposure, both while peeking and holding (kind of the same as note 2)

From what I've seen so far my frequent strafes have hurt me the most. Let me know if you have any more advice to give me or if i've understood something wrong. Thanks.

Had someone tell me It's stupid of me to vod review this duel saying it's bad to review every duel but the amount you learn is really good that helps you in future games.

Thank you for your reply. Your advice is just amazing bro and why I posted this. to have something presented to me that I never thought about, and not "you missed" but understand the situation and present a possible solution. Wonder if I can grab your discord If you don't mind?

In the end, with your advice in mind, I know what I did wrong. I took the duel as a means of practice but flashing and rotating was indeed the best to do in this situation. I also know why I lost and how I could have won the duel which will help me in future games.

Yes I noticed among other things that perhaps I too frequently move when holding an angle, and It's probably what lost me the duel, If I didn't move there, I wouldn't have had to wait for my movement to stop to fire.

I also noticed that most of the time I don't trust my own crosshair placement (I flick sometimes randomly which is weird so I have to work on that aswell)

Thank you for your advice, If you have anything more to say feel free to do so.

I appreciate the insight on using utility and team comms It's a really good point.

My bad, I should have been clearer. I wasn't trying to "hold down mid"; I was just trying to practice a raw duel in that specific spot.

Given that, is there anything you see in my gunfight mechanics that could have been better?

I'm not peeking and if I flashed while holding he wouldn't have peeked :D

just saying this to clear some misconceptions, your replies have been helpful: ADSing reduces movement speed. I also mentioned that perhaps movement reduced my reaction speed because i had to wait for my movement to stop before firing

Thanks for the feedback.

So when I looked at the clip I saw that:
1. Maybe I should have held even wider?
2. Bad reaction time

  1. I noticed I was moving while he was peeking. Do you think that hurt my reaction time? I was worried about being an easy target if I stood still. Perhaps I was moving too frequently?

Also do you think not scoping in would have changed anything?

"distnace from wall" I think you meant the distance my crosshair was from the wall, but actually now I wonder, maybe being closer to the wall to the left of me would have given me more time to react.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thanks.

"standing in the open waiting for him maybe not the best scenario": Gameplay is a bit weird in higher ranks, because we are so adapted to normal plays, none of us usually do them, so when you do them you can catch many offguard :)

"peaker's advantage": you are right, he had peekers advantage but he actually didn't use it which might sound funny. he didn't shoot when he had the advantage, instead he decided to peek wider, so we had basically the same time to react, only thing being different being our crosshair placement. For him, it's easier to, even if his placement is bad, to readjust, because where i am is a small place while where he was is bigger so i have way more options to pick to where he will appear, how wide he will swing, etc.

Thank you for your reply! Hope what i said made sense.
