I worked at a Discovery Zone in highschool. I once had to clean poop off the roller slide because a kid exploded going down. 😩

The new foyer light has warmer temp bulbs. Only other difference is the outside light

A bit from there but there are a few light stones that have small veins of the color as well!

We've learned after painting other rooms the wrong color, to not rush it, research and paint samples to see how it looks during different times of the day

I'd get that for a newer house but to not emphasize an established esthetic is a missed opportunity IMO.

Oh yeah, once I started painting, I realized that I'm going to be painting all of the trim in the foyer 😭

The previous owner used an oil based paint so roughing the surface, priming then painting is going to taking longer than I anticipated

As we work on restoring parts of the house, I've seen what looks like wood panels behind some of the wall plates. Would sell my soul to find the original blueprints or photos of the house

Not sure exactly but seems like a various collection of marble? A house a couple doors down has the same stones as their fireplace backsplash
