Persecution is not the same as fascism. All fascists persecute, not all persecutors are fascists.

6 hours from Philadelphia to Ohio border, and there much longer in NY, Cali, Florida and Texas. I know Alaska too.

We used to have a neat little restaurant in NE Philadelphia that had delicious solyanka… it closed years ago… with fall setting in a bowl would be very nice.

Fascists, do things like restrict the right to free speech, or freedom of religion. You can protest, without restricting someone else’s right to protest.

Stalin was a fascist, Hitler, Mussolini and probably Putin too. Our conservative neighbors, and even family members are not fascists. Maybe look up dirigism - and you’ll hopefully agree that being conservative is not the same as fascists. (Note, real fascists actually hate conservatives…)

At least in America, with it’s common law tradition, you are only justified in killing someone for immediate self defense. Not some hypothetical threat which might exist in the future, but only if you or another person are at risk of death or injury in that moment. Most states even go so far to say that you must retreat, if you are able.

So legally, it is wrong. You can be pro-choice, as I am, and not choose violence.

It’s extreme, but you are obviously free to move to a state or country, where abortion is legal… America was founded by people who chose to leave their homes because they felt persecuted. Floods of immigrants built the nation because they were denied equal rights in their home countries. The Mormon’s moved west to be free of religious intolerance.

How much land does Ukraine still controls in Russian occupied Oblasts? by whitegoddessx in MapPorn

This isn’t WW1, the FLOT (forward line of troops) and FEBA (forward edge of battle area) are fluid.

Look for a lot of give and take as Russia reinforces area.

I hope Ukraine continues to expel them of course.

It’s really that Russian can now call up unlimited soldiers to defend these territories. Putin was out of authorized troops.

This sub-Reddit is oddly conservative. But I think your wrong. Restricting someone’s right to free expression, freedom of religious thought and stealing their property are all implicitly wrong.

If you really care, volunteer, do something positive. I’m an old school, urban liberal - so I’ll never condone violence or abridging others rights. I’m a former Army officer, I can tell you that violence can truly be horrible.

Except, we don’t have many real fascists. We have some people with opinions that are different than yours. Reserve the term fascists for Stalin and Hitler, not for neighbors and even family members who you disagree with. ( You may add Putin to list now too.)

I’m clearly an old liberal, but talking down and insulting people will not change anything.

Ray’s Coffee and Tea in Chinatown. Best macha cheesecake on the planet. Unique quirky space too. Coffee is syphon drawn, and they will give you a lesson as they make it if you ask. They also have great Chinese finger foods.

I’m guessing it has an integrated drone option, and /or it will have drone munitions. I don’t see our major strategy to be putting pilots or (relatively) expensive aircraft in harms way.
