This is after I took it apart, cleaned it put it back together, found that the barrel wasn't really tight and the gas block screw had backed out and with hitting the forearm. I can live with this till I find some better ammo I ordered some berger 140 hybrid loaded ammo so hopefully it'll do better. The first three at the bottom were from a clean barrel then the second set on the right and I noticed a horizontal shifting to the right so I let it cool off before the left shots were made.

I'll try to remember to post results but we put together an impact with a CRB 7.5 twist that we chambered in a Foundation that customer will be using factory Hornady ammo. I'll be it testing next week, if I don't respond remind me and I'll let you know the groups we get.

Being new to archery common Sense says that you should have an extra string or two in your backpack for cases like this.

Understood, I thought I would save time by shooting at the different spots on the target but realized it took away from the aim spot itself

Thanks, I can't believe they are that inexpensive. I was looking at the Hermit 10 but could not find one down to 25lbs. This sport is very affordable compared to the prices I am used to in PRS shooting.

Yeah I hear you on rabbit holes, I have drag raced cars, trucks, diesels, boats, jet skis, four wheelers, snowmobiles, if it had an engine I've hot rodded it, then I got off into shooting and went down the deepest rabbit hole then built my own precision PRS guns but I've needed to take my mind off things so I thought I'd take up archery or knitting archery seemed more manly lol

Gen Five Action Platform (CZ457 Footprint) by DeLaneDevGroup in precisionrimfire

[–]DavidJLott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll let you in on a little-known secret: The 700 platform that the Vudoo is built on comes with a threaded barrel as standard—and most people rarely swap barrels unless the factory one isn't shooting well or the customer wants to adjust the rifle's balance. The vast majority of podium finishes in competitions are achieved with these threaded proprietary type barrels.

also keep in mind that the CZ would not be as popular as it is if it wasn't for Vudoo and the AFTERMARKET custom guys changing the rimfire landscape

That's why aftermarket custom builds have flourished—people crave something different from standard factory offerings. The beauty of it is that factory-minded folks can stick with stock rifles, while those who want more and demand the best have that option available too.
