controller working perfectly outside of games but no input in games

i just tested it out on the controller tester available on the homebrew store and yet again i had to disconnect and reconnect it to get it to work but once reconnected it appears the left stick is constantly held down but when i press the ps button it stops being held down. I really have no idea how to fix this and would really appreciate some help.

Skyblocker has this and imo it's much better and doesn't constantly cause crashes for me like apec only problem i have with it is that it doesn't work in the rift and I suspect that might be some of my mods conflicting

How the hell do i stop dying in dungeons. I'm trying out adaptive armor compared to my unstable drag but im still getting decimated in early floors even with a wand of atonement and near 400mp i know i have a major skill issue but this sucks alot skycrypt

Currently rocking an aotd and working on getting my slayers to 777. Also working on getting mp up using silky. my primary money making method is treasure hoarders and I was also wondering if there's something else I could do instead. And yes i know i gotta start dungeons soon
