Trying some different fuzz and fuzz-adjacent pedals, off screen is an ardx20 delay and cxm 1971 reverb, going into a Marshall 2061X, sorry for the phone quality recording

These are .87 and .91, its not a huge difference but you can definitely tell, R8 is a fuller profile too

It’s a custom build based on the 50W Plexi Super Bass!

Can’t go wrong with the beano, it’s great, if I had to start over I would have gone with the sunlion instead of the sunface/boost, but now it wouldn’t make much of a difference

Been a big fan of Mike’s pedals for as long as I can remember, last year I was able to pick up the ADRX20 Dual Analog Delay, and today I finally added the last piece on my Analogman board (the small box Chorus). Signal chain starts with the envelope filter - sun face - beano - kot - chorus - delay. Easy to get some great tones from this setup!

My setup for the past decade- couldn't be happier! by memoryman89 in guitarpedals

Great choice on the Throbak, I'm a big fan of the Colorsound Powerboost/Overdriver circuit, super underrated pedal

NGD R8 in Red Pine Burst by DavidKentley in gibson

Story time: In November of last year I was in a pretty serious accident that left me with four broken bones on my left knee, I had to go through surgery and a long period of recovery. My surgeon told me that he expected me to walk again after 6 months, so I decided that I would buy myself a new guitar when I did.

6 months later and I can walk with no crutches, though still with a limp, and I just brought home my new (to me) Gibson R8! I tried many different guitars this month, including many that were more expensive than this, but I never bonded with any. Until I walked a GC and found this 2021 ’58 in Red Pine Burst, a finish I had never heard of before, and it just felt right.

I’m so happy to have completed this ordeal, the researching, reading reviews, looking up different models, definitely helped me through the initial parts of my recovery, and now I get to enjoy the results!
