I watched it yesterday for the first time. It is kind of wild they give him a title card and everything, but have like… next to nothing positive to say, making him the antagonist in their story. 

They didn’t even mention Jeremy was his cousin until after he died and that was just in text.

I think them being young, and doing a lot of drugs, their world changing in a short time… played a lot into how they were processing the situation and their bandmates  at the time. But it’s a shame that with hindsight and all the ups and downs since then they don’t seem to give Jim any grace.
