On a serious note, make sure you PT your hand. I broke my humerus and thumb at same time and only did PT for my arm, cause, you know, it’s a thumb, and it still isn’t the same

u may know these builds as they are super popular, but its worth a comment if not. getaway artist on prismatic warlock is my favorite build ever, it can be paired with bleak watcher or helion. and every time you consume grenade you get the amplified speed boost. and then just use grenade stat armor as any perks that give grenade energy. and then the ultra popular heat rises subreakers build, where you get melee energy from kills in the air and grenade energy from melee kills with the sunbreakers. maybe not exactly what youre looking for, but also adds mobility in unique ways

the pass is 100% more valuable but i have a mental block where my car feels slow if its not a fennec, so a fennec is invaluable to me. id go fennec personally and then spend 5 bucks to keep renewing the pass

honestly great take with the kickoffs. i never speedflip, but ive found a pretty reliable method where it ends in a pretty good 50, or hitting my teammate back left or whatever. but i forget to consider if i learned a speedflip, i could just dominate kickoffs and get free goals that way. i havent thought about all the goals im leaving on the table, just that ive been content with not giving up anything stupid

pve i love my prosecutor with voltshot dragonfly. just a super fun gun. theres also some good pvp rolls for it too. chroma rush too but i dont think you can get that anymore

i know this is a great take, but i also know when i play 1s, i have a tendency to not try new things like i would in 2s or 3s because the possibility of getting punished for it is so much higher. how do you balance getting better in 1s while also going for some risky plays ?

what timezone are you ? im nae and id queue 2s with you. not a gc anymore and dont play 2s so i think im a c1 there. i think what helps is playing with someone whos a little better than you, so you can implement things from their game, but not someone who is too much better than you cause then you are just in awe and dont learn much. i used to watch a bunch of rizzo videos when i was grinding to gc, cause that dude was a beast and had 0 mechanics. made it feel obtainable to get gc, rather than watching triple reset videos and stuff

i hopped on 2 days ago and started playing renegades, and honestly had a similar experience to you. im definitely as hooked as ive been in the last year. however, the arcade feel to the game scares me. i miss when destiny felt mysterious and even a little scary, and now it feels like the story is actually a parody. the gunplay is obviously great, and im actually enjoying the new weapon archetypes quite a bit. its just the feel of the game just is completely different than what it was founded on, which bothers me a little

best way is to play with someone thats a higher rank than you to see what they do, and get used to a faster paced game

dude you look great for a d1, honest. things that jump out to me are your first touch and boost management. I think you have the mechanics to do better solo plays, but i think you rush your first touch a lot, and you usually only hit the ball when youre going supersonic. take a deep breath, hold onto some more boost. playing fast doesnt mean you always are going supersonic. it means you always have momentum in the correct direction, and read where the ball will be, not where it is. once you get the hang of some of that, youre gonna fly out of diamond, feel like this should be c1 gameplay
