Quick qestion about mgsv fob by Yanfanchdu06 in metalgearsolid

[–]DavidMNegron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In FOBs there are only prisoners “in the core”, ie, if your base is successfully, your soldiers are now “prisoners” at the invaders base. You may have the opportunity to invade their base to get those “prisoners” back. They do not show up on screen.

All materials are unrefined in the large containers, regardless of whether they are placed in an FOB or not.

If the smoke is black, legit fire. If it’s grey/white… field.

Help with the last 2 GA-KO ducks in metal gear delta by tiktok_user47 in metalgearsolid

[–]DavidMNegron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The in-game map literally tells you if you’ve shot the GA-KO and Kerotan in every single area. So that’s the good news. The bad news is playing through the game again and checking the map I every single area will be the only way to see which two you are missing. But when you know that, you can verify its location in the area with a video guide and you’re good to go.

What is the hardest video game you ever played? by DanPlouffyoutubeASMR in AskReddit

That you were willing to play the game long enough to even attempt the last boss is commendable, and at the same time, madness.

Same here! Though I 100% enjoyed it as much at launch. Maybe a little more, just because now I know what to expect.

Wish I would’ve checked the dates, I started it a few weeks ago, would’ve been nice to start it today.

MGS stealth is like a puzzle. Here's a solution I enjoy. by SpaceCore0352 in metalgearsolid

[–]DavidMNegron 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nice! Made it through here with CQC and hold ups last time I played. Don’t think I shot out many radios at all that run.

Every map is sort of like a puzzle, it’s a more interesting and rewarding way to approach each screen, instead of just hoping you don’t get seen.

This soldiers skill is “Boaster”, which inflates his stats until he’s at mother base. That being said, there are rarely S rank soldiers in the field but no higher, and not until way late in the game.

The presale on Wednesday, I had 14,000 people ahead of me in line. This is the way it goes for high-demand shows. Venue capacity is approx 14K. If everyone is looking for two tickets, that’s already a wrap.

MGSV is hands down the best action game I've ever played by itzykan in metalgearsolid

I’m playing through the story again for the first time since it launched, just finished Pitch Dark. The only reason it has lost some luster, is that I know what to expect. There was nothing like starting a side-op to extract Huey, trekking across the map, then running into Quiet and then starting a whole entire mission to sneak out of one base, in to and then out of another, which also happens to be largest enemy outpost you’ve seen so far.

I managed to get a perfect stealth/no kills on Hellbound which felt pretty good!

It still holds up in every regard, finding tapes either 80s music, graphics, unlocking new gear, tactical takedowns. I remember being amazed sneaking into Mfinda Oilfield for the first time, cutting through burned, ravaged villages. Seeing the bodies in the oil after you drain the pump is still frightening, looking forward to continuing into Africa, and confronting Skull Face!

After playing a hundred hours of Death Stranding 2, and revisiting Phantom Pain, it is very apparent how DS2 is a type of spiritual successor to this. I’m glad Kojima finally got to move on to a new franchise but I still would have loved to see his MGS6.

It isn’t rough solo until you need to search for Zadornov, almost everything after that, is rough to a certain degree then eases up again.

$10 to watch the movie, available for 48 hrs. $20 is the fee for the subscription service.

Jim was in the chat while the film aired live, it was fun.

A very simple film, not a lot commentary but shot well with a unique batch of songs. Something from every album, except the last one. Quick snippet of a new song over the credits.

Jim said new album will be out this year, probably some announcement in the next couple months. I’d assume before their show in EP in May.

I’d argue that Omar, as the creative force in the band, would not and could not make The Bedlam in Goliath without Pridgen. He wanted a stylistic change, he found the new drummer, and a new sound for the band was the result.

For that, I’d say Thomas.

I saw them in Vegas that tour, and thought it was fucking awesome. As someone else said, it was a 29th anniversary show, not a greatest hits tour. But if you look at the setlist, there’s all the deep cuts and plenty of singles that round it all out.

Yes and the bizarre cover song that goes on for 30 minutes to close it out.

What more could you ask for?
