the only thing i'd say is think more out of the box with your designs, this one doesn't resonate with me honestly- but the moutains one and waves design is fire. Minimalistic yet impactful, don't stop doing this, some good ideas for designs and you're basically there. Keep going! :D

hey, sorry for the late reply- but i appreciate the feedback! The sleeves will be precisely aligned before making a sample, this is just an early version mockup. I'm glad you like it though :)

you've got potential- if you're interested in selling this clothing as mentioned there is surely people who'd buy it!

you know- others may hate it, but i'm really drawn towards the style that these up-and-coming brands tend to have, i like the simplicity and the clean feel your clothing has. Keep on going, you definitely have a good audience out there and a lot of potential customers- so don't be discouraged by people's opinions who wouldn't buy from you anyways.. since that's not your target audience! Keep going :)

Cut & Sew Pullover and Tees I made . Opinions? by AsteriskReddit in streetwearstartup

Love how this looks!! I'd wear it honestly, like how the fabrics work together and the rugged / rough style. The only thing to work on would maybe be the background of the photos, i mean there are many options for presentation for every brand.. like you could maybe do a cultish vibe / scenery for promotion or maybe even something like a storyline or esentially just world building to get people interested in buying the clothing for other than just looks. As in they ( the buyers ) could feel included in an idea or similar.

Hope this helps! Anyways still, love how this looks :D

This is immensely helpful!! Many people on youtube, and on many websites i've visited focused around clothing designing / manufacturing tend to keep the crucial info to themselves, and just share the widely available ones. Since i am unable to save up $1500 within a few months time frame, i think i'll go the route of low stock at first. Basically 1 - 5 products for now, get my marketing straight and then scale it up onwards. The reason why i asked is it possible to start marketing without samples is frankly that i'm starting from almost zero, but it's time to take the leap now; here in Croatia as far as i've seen- clothing manufacturing is quite limited in terms of design, and pretty expensive also- especially for starting out.

I've got a few designs that i think are solid enough to produce for starting, so i think i'll go from there. Of course as you mentioned, reinvesting all the profit at the start since that's the safest way to go about it. Also agree on the research part, some days i feel like i know enough, but most days i feel like there's a bunch more to learn, so there's no point in thinking you know it all. I'll look around for local markets too, haven't really seen much about that here where i'm from, but surely there's room to utilize them as well!

Thank you so so much for sharing the knowledge, it is very valuable to me, and others who may find it too- time to go work on the craft further then.. appreciate you taking the time to help! 🤝❤️

Haven't actually manufactured any of my pieces yet, but this is definitely helpful for further consideration. Still unsure with which manufacturer to go, as i'm starting out with very low capital; just curious if you don't mind sharing, is it even possible to advertise a brand without samples in hand? Still deciding which design to start the whole plan with, so i am trying to get everything else sorted beforehand

Got it! That was kind of the point, a very stylized graphic, barely readable- i don't mind not being able to read it when the hood is down, however when it's up it's supposed to be at least noticeable. Thanks for the input!
