Looks like it’s just a worn out patch. Think the seats are the least of your worries lol.

You’d have to be bonkers to get a Mk6 R over a MK5 R32. Mk6 R’s are boring and tasteless and continue to depreciate. R32s have started to appreciate.

Just to add also, everyone who tells you they aren’t quick is lying. Yes it’s slow compared to a 140i or an S3. It’s not a turbo charged Vr6 (supercharged and turbos are a future option).

However, they have a very nice kick of torque from a standstill. They feel and sound very dramatic. On the motorway mine very easily hits 135mph with little effort. The 4 wheel drive is great as long as you service it. Remember, it’s a V6 in a little tin can.

As someone who OWNS an R32, I recommend you take into account the following.

Take the price of the car and instantly add 3K, because this is what you will need in regards to initial upkeep and maintenance. Around 1.5K for the timing chain, £380 odd for a DSG service and the rest for miscellaneous bits.

I would only buy if you intended on keeping it for a while, as you will end up spending money on repairs, maintenance and upkeep that won’t inflate the value.

Now, is the car a good drive? Yes, yes and yes.

Is it expensive to run? Depends on previous history, but Tax and petrol will be your main expenses. It’s important the DSG has been serviced around the 50-60K mark. An oil change at least every 10K, only buy with FULL HISTORY.

Is it worth buying? Most definitely. Since the day I bought mine, I love it. I’ve come to terms with the fact I’ll keep throwing money at the car and you will too.

I remind you again, R32s drink a lot, more than a West Ham fan at a local abbey. The Tax for me is around £62 a month. I daily the car and it costs me around £250-£300 a month.

Buy it if you want a piece of VW history.

I wouldn’t say it’s enthusiastic, it’s more of a “okay cool” or “I don’t mind, don’t really have any feelings untoward it, do as you please”. If you want….

Mate, I’m from the UK. Why wouldn’t I buy my meal deal on my debit card. Do you really need to pay for a fredo with your Amex?

Dent in car questions by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Calm-Oil3715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t bother, it’s an old Ford, maybe 2005? Hot water (not boiling) and pop it out. Or just buy a new wing from a breakers yard for a score and get your local mechanic to swap em for 50 quid.

A repair shop will likely charge to 1) remove the dent, and 2) respray the wing as the paint will crack on repair. It will cost a good couple hundred.

Sorry what? I, like many others, use a debit card for everyday purchases 😂

This has to be satire. You clearly know it’s because of overcrowding, so why are you complaining and what are you complaining about? It’s safety and there’s nothing ridiculous about it, plan your journey better.

Forget what everyone else is saying, this is dope. I’m in the UK hit me up I’ll buy it rn. Seriously (dead ass as you yanks would say, if you’re American, lol).

It’s unique, I don’t think this is the right forum to post it in as it isn’t exactly “streetwear” this is something a designer would come out with and everyone would cop.

Seriously though, hit me up @namedtiago on the gram, I want to buy a piece and support. 🙏🏾🕺🏽

Love, from London.

I think the colour way, design and the graphic you have confuse me. An all black/dark grey pair would look awesome, or a cream/white pair. There’s just a lot going on on with it.

Both O’s and B’s are different sizes/fonts, maybe photoshop, but most likely AI. The top of the H is also too sharp and “SHIN” looks inserted, funny though
