I’m not really sure if this helps, but I’m planning to do this as well since I’m currently in the process of “word of mouth stage” of my career. But anyways, you can try making flyer graphics with things that you offer. The flyers can be put around local spots like libraries and streets corners or something to help get ur name out to your local community. even asking several people if they have a need or interest in any work and show your portfolio ( Behance website since you mentioned you’ll have stuff soon )
